Food pretty good but serving Cauliflower with chicken masala was strange. .. Also Magners is from Clonmel in Southern Ireland (on menu) not Northen Ireland which has many fine drinks of its own.

They have just had an excellent promotion a 3 course meal for $28.95. A choice of 2 starters then 5 entrees and one dessert. There was something for everybody. We enjoyed so much the first time that we went back again and took friends with us. The service is excellent and very friendly. The bloody marys are good too.

Came here with a friend for dinner last week and we had a great time. The fish chowder was the best I had in Bermuda, and the drinks (especially the coffee-based ones) were excellent. Really friendly service, and fun/laid-back atmosphere. They also have a little bar area to hang out in and drink if you've already eaten. Recommended!

We went there on a Thursday night (27/11/14) in a group of 4, met my son and his girlfriend after they'd finished work. Nice early evening bar feel, had a beer of two and stayed to eat. I thought food was lovely, prices were good, and service was excellent- we had a very lovely waitress with a great sense of... More

We had a great afternoon meal at this restaurant, and the service was awesome. The restaurant was not busy since it is off season, and we were there at 3:00pm. The waitress gave us special treatment.

This is much better than your typical English pub food. The atmosphere is definitely that of a British pub. Anglophiles and British expats are here on a regular basis. The good news is that you can actually enjoy the food! We had a cross-section of the menu and were pleased with all of our choices, from the Chicken Pot Pie... More

Here's where the locals hang out after work on Friday, so please don't ruin it! Great place to kick back and have a beer; the food was wonderful even though we ate in the bar - was delicious, and very reasonably priced for the (expensive) island.

The Hog Penny is more on the quiet and romantic side, I would say it is great for couples, office lunch or dinner and mature crowd. The food is great and they have a selection for just about everyone. No complaints and would return to this restaurant.

we often do not think about the Hog Penny unless it is a Sunday, but then leave saying, what a good meal. Good price performer with lots of pub food interspersed with curries and fresh fish!

Old style pub in middle of Hamilton with good atmosphere and quality fresh food. Enjoyed fresh salads for lunch served by friendly smiling waitress.
