British-style Pub in Hamilton

A good place for a meal on a Sunday evening when there is less choice. Good fish and efficient service. Flambéed banana dessert expensive but a dramatic way to finish your meal-enough for 2 people to share.

We stumbled on the Hog Penny during our 3 day stay on the Norwegian Dawn. We all loved it. A bit expensive but better then most "tourist" places. Staff was very nice, the decor is great. The other three in my group had fish and chips which they throughly enjoyed, I had the shepherds pie, which was wonderful.

Standard pub dining with local fish, which was severely over cooked. How can you claim to be a pub without Guiness on draft? My Guiness in the can didn't make me happy.

Great old spot, just off Front St. We always stop by this Pub for a refreshing drink or light lunch. Staff is friendly and the "pub-fare is better than the usual watering holes. It's a good place to escape the touristy shops of Hamilton.

This iconic Bermuda pub near Front St has been around forever. It's a great place to go for a drink if you want to mingle with expats and visitors, and share stories about how you ended up in Bermuda. When you enter, head straight for the bar. Bartender Andrew servers up $9 local beers and $8 – 9 wines. Drink... More

My husband really enjoyed his meal, my chicken pie was only so-so. My rum swizzle was very different from what I'd had other places, and not an improvement in my opinion. We waited a very long time for our food to arrive. There was trivia happening on the night we were there — didn't add to the ambiance overall. I... More

I research the world for hamburgers. I like them. The Hog Penny has a $20.95 burger which price-wise tests my upper limit. Of course it is Bermuda and everything must be imported and we were on vacation so ...suck it up Cheap Charlie...it was a good burger.

This pub has an extensive menu that includes burgers and regular entrees. The beer selection was good, the service fast and pleasant.

Dinner at the Hog Penny was very good and the Bloody Mary I had was excellent. The staff was friendly and funny. The building has an interesting history and the place was great for dinner - if in Hamilton this is a must visit for sure!!!
