I'm sure that most of the "other" food is wonderful at the Hog Penny Pub, but for myself, I make it a point to go there EVERY time I am in Bermuda for the wonderful Fish Chowder alone. Let me say first of all that I am not a fan of fish chowder and would never order it normally, however,... More

My wife and I visit Bermuda yearly, and the Hog Penny is a restaurant we keep going back to. The food is always above average, the drinks are what is to be expected, and the price is right. Service is always with a smile, and we never seem to wait very long for the waiter/waitress to address any of our... More

Try the Grilled Cheese! Definitely not your typical grilled cheese! It was wonderful! The BLT with cod was really good, too. Some more standard pub food, too. Great service.

The bartender at Hog Penny was super nice. He and one of the regulars gave us superb recommendations for dinner that evening. Try the Three Little Birds drink. It's great!

While walking around Hamilton we stopped into Hog Penny for lunch. Really enjoyed sandwich and they had my drink "cider" with a few varieties to choose from. Staff very friendly and service excellent. If you visit Hamilton, make sure you stop here.

We were looking for a reasonably priced restaurant and found the Hog Penny to be that place. Excellent waitress answered all of our questions about the menu. The fish chowder was probably the best we've ever had. And the burgers were cooked to perfection. This place gives you the feeling of a neighborhood hangout. Took home a nice Hog Penny... More

The wife chose to try this pub out one evening as she had seen the reviews on Tripadvisor and the menu! Just off Front street next to Barracuda Grill this old fashioned looking pub was very good with great attentive service, reasonable priced food and biggest portions we had all week! We tried the Cheeseburger spring rolls and wow what an... More

Went on a weekday night when things in town had already shut down. The meal was great, enjoyed the fish and chips and shepherd's pie at reasonable prices. However, the service was very slow and the place was no more than 2/3 full. Not sure that would stop me from going back again, just couldn't understand why things took so... More

We showed up here a day before our scheduled reservation (not realizing until the next morning) but they didn't say a word to us and took us in anyways. The food here is amazing. It is a small place with great features of old world woods from the 1900's and old mirrors from the same time period. We asked the... More

We stopped here on our way to the Ferry after spending the day at the beach. It is just a short distance from the ferry on a side street. We were early for dinner so were seated right away and had a nice waiter who was very attentive and quickly brought a couple of cold drinks. Our meals came right... More
