A little far, but worth the trip.

We recently visited Kamini's Kitchen while in town for a wedding. The trip was a little far, but worth going to extra distance to have a meal without the tourist crowds. Though I suppose the time of year we were visiting Aruba wasn't at peak so most restaurants weren't overly crowded anyway. Some... read more

We dined at Kamini's during our stay in Aruba. Kamini is very friendly and outgoing and made us feel like family while dining at her home. We enjoyed the chicken soup to start the meal then had the goat and grouper entrees. Comfort food at it's finest served in a relaxed setting. We enjoyed our conversation with Kamini and wish... Where to start? Super friendly. GREAT food. Laid back atmosphere makes you want to stay. I had 2 rotis - Goat and the chicken. I love roti and eat it whenever I can and can say quite honestly that this is the best I've had in all the islands. The dishes were well seasoned and by using fresh herbs it... More

Had a fantastic time at Kamini's Kitchen; the food was great, and had a lot of fun meeting Kamini and her husband.

Something really special for us tonight: a excellent meal at home at Kamini's kitchen. We were received as personal guests and enjoyed very good food and enjoyable company at her house. In the past Kamini cooked the best pastechi's of Aruba, Although supposed to be served for breakfast we tried her favorite. the one with broccoli and cheese. After the... More

My family and I were fortunate enough to read about Kamini's Kitchen on Trip Advisor prior to our trip to Aruba last week. While awaiting the Fall 2015 opening of her new restaurant, Kamini brings people into her house at the south end of Aruba and prepares an amazing home-cooked meal for them. Kamini is an excellent cook--I'm already dreaming... More

we enjoyed some wonderful food in Aruba but Kamini's kitchen was truly the standout! Originally from Trinidad she cooks with a Caribbean flair that is matched only by her personality. Your party will be the only guests in her outdoor eating area. Experience being a guest in the home of a local because that is where you will be. Located... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of finding Kamini on tripadvisor during our visit to Aruba. After a couple of evenings of over priced and mediocre food around the resorts, it was a delight to be given the warmest of welcomes into Kaminis home. She was very accommodating to my low-mercury highly-annoying pregnancy diet and cooked what my husband... More

When my husband and I traveled to Aruba late last month we saw wonderful reviews about Kamini's Kitchen. They were right! Kamini was nice enough to meet us at the police station to make it easier to find your home. Dinner was home cooked in her kitchen and served outside at a table. Kamini with her family and friends were... More
