Description: Gianni's Ristorante Italiano starts its story in 1984 when Giovanni and Filomena Ferrara opened their first family owned restaurant in downtown Oranjestad, Aruba. As one of the first Italian restaurants in Aruba success was very quick to follow, through the years up to now the family has slowly moved from downtown to the new nightlife area in Palm Beach better known as the strip. Gianni's was the beginning of a family of restaurants across the island, always specializing in extraordinary culinary experiences. Today you can still meet some of the family in Gianni's, the Italian side of the Ferrara family originate from Castellamare di Stabia, a small city on the Napoleon Coast, you can find the menu at Gianni's is geared more around napoleon food but as the years have passed and our customer base has grown we have extended into other regions of Italy to create a more complete Italian experience for our customers. Gianni's is well known for constantly changing towards modern times and better ingredients, always looking to import the freshest and finest quality ingredients to enhance our customer experience. Our motto has always been; try to find the best, enjoy the best, and share it with our guests.

I went here with my mother who has a handicap. Sammy kindly parked my mothers scooter to the front and checked on us all night. Miguel, our waiter, was equally as friendly and attentive. The price point might seem pricey for some but definitely worth it do the quality of food and generous portions! I would recommend this for all.... More

We have been here in previous years and tonight we looked forward to going back. My husband ordered the veal parm and I had the Osso bucco. We were very surprised when our order arrived in SIX minutes. That is just not possible if the food is made to order. It was not just us because then we started watching... More

What an amazing experience I had with my family at Gianni's Ristorante Italiano. I had the Parmigano Pasta, which they are well known for, and they cooked it right infront of us! We were serenated by a violinist who came from Venezuela. Some excellent employees were Elkyn, Samy and Brigitte. We made reservations ahead of time and they accommodated us... More

Dinner at Gianni's is always great. Good food, service and atmosphere. Waitser Jean Carlos Barriento does a great job! We love the quatro formaggio rigatoni!

This October's PPC Championships was our second time in Aruba and our second time eating our way through the menu at Gianni's. Sybrand recommended the gnocchi and tomato salad for lunch the first day, which was so good we had it several times during the week, both as a meal and a side dish. The lobster thermidor is unbelievable (we... More

Gianni's is worth the trip for their specialty pasta, Spaghetti al Formaggi prepared in a wheel of parmesan cheese - absolutely delicious and a very cool presentation as well. Wine list was good and priced well as was our appetizer - I'd skip some of the "add ons" though - we added shrimp to our pasta and it was okay... More

What an absolutely amazing experience! This was our first time in Aruba and we had a few recommendations to try this place out. Our waiters were Elkyn and Samy and they were absolutely wonderful. The food was out of this world - we are still craving it! The servers went above and beyond. They even brought bug spray to the... More

I have visited Aruba three times and have tried a plethora of restaurants. Many of my friends have given rave reviews of Gianni's - and my first trip there I was not overwhelmed. During my latest trip to Aruba, I thought that I should give the restaurant another "go". Overall, my food was similar to a "blob". The risotto was... More

We went to Gianni's on a rainy afternoon and enjoyed every bit of it. The specials were really good and the treatment felt very personal. Lots of attention from the staf and especially our sweet hostess Brigitte.

I rated this "Average", however, if you like this flavor of Italian, then I would think you will probably rate it very good or excellent. We were looking for an "Italian" restaurant, and our preference is Italian with lots of pasta, meatballs, sausage, things that you find in a good NY restaurant. This place was recommended to us by the... More
