It took 18 months but the bad food and terrible service I wrote about in February 2013 finally caught up with Amazonia, as it is out of business.

Salad bar was amazing and we enjoyed the many different varieties of excellent meats brought to the table. This is a fixed price all you can eat restaurant. Unfortunately, we understand that we ate there on the last night it was open, having purportedly closed the next day.

We were there in the off season and it was not crowed, so we received very good service and ate until we had to be taken out in a wheelchair. Reasonably priced and easy to park. Located near the hotels in high rise area.

This is a restaurant that I have enjoyed in the past, but this week the workers showed up to work and the doors were locked. It's a pity--the new owners had recently remodeled the restaurant.

We decided to give the other Rodizio restaurant a try after a long time. We called to make reservations and were told we’d get a local rate for Salad Bar only during this slow season. That was a nice incentive of course. We were seated in a dark corner so we requested another table, and once seated there it took... More

The food was ok. Somewhat plentiful and you can try different types and cuts of meat. We couldn't get enough attention from our main server and kept having to ask the servers with the meat skewers to send someone over. We would have spent more money if we had been given the service we wanted, for simple items like drinks... More

We visited Amazonia our last night in Aruba last week, and wished we had stopped in earlier during our vacation. Excellent food, prompt service with the roving skewer band, each cut of meat is individually seasoned. Great food. A bit expensive, but worth every penny. They even switched one of the TVs to a kids' channel to keep our two... More

Certainly plenty of food to go around, lots of different choices, the soups were both fantastic from the salad bar. A lot of people on here complained about the salad bar but I thought it was more than sufficient. Soups, mozzerella, deviled eggs all excellent. The service was exceptionally good. Most of the meat was pretty good but we thought... More

Only go to this place if you want the best revolving, delicious food experience. The service is excellent and the food is non stop. You have to raise the flag in order to slow down the variety of meats that grace your table. Along with the fresh baked bread and abundant self-serve buffet with every side you can think of,... More

We had sushi at the Sushi bar at amazonia. Some of the chef/special rolls seemed a bit highly priced but nonetheless tasty. The sushi chef was courteous. The rest of the resto was emptying up and about to close but the sushi bar was still open (it was close to half past ten at night). The staff seemed a bit... More
