We've been vacationing in Aruba since 2009 and just ate at Carambola this year! Boy had we been missing a fabulous place! The food was amazing especially the Lobster Thermidor! Our waiter Amaury was the best! He was very attentive without being overbearing. Carambola is now at the top of our eateries list for the entire island. Keep up the... More

We had a nice enought meal at Carambola. This is my second time there and with so many choices I don't know if there will be a third. My husband's lobster was the most expensive on the island and was only ok with a funny aftertaste. My daughter did not care for the sauce on her steak but thought the... More

My husband and I enjoyed our evening at Carambola. We were looking for something within walking distance of LaCabana. We had the peanut soup which was good and different. My husband had seafood pasta which he said was very good. I had the shrimp diavlo which was spicy as anticipated. The meal came with warm bread. Our server, Eduardo, was... More

Nice environment and wine list but the food and our waiter where disappointing. My friends chicken was so tough she could not cut into it and the salmon was over cooked also. Not many vegetarian options either. We ended up ordering a pizza when we got to our resort because we where all so hungry. Our waiter came across as... More

Our first night in Aruba we ate at Carambala. It was very quiet and the restaurant was nearly empty. Obviously our reservations were honored. The food was better than average and the price was excellent. The Italian dishes were well prepared and tasty. The service was good (not many patrons). The décor was a little disappointing It ranked 6 out... More

Well, it may be 2 or 3 years old, but that is pretty new here. It was our first visit. We had the surf and turf special. It came with a glass of Sangria, soup or salad, 4 oz fillet and 4 oz lobster tail for a very reasonable (by Aruba standards) $35. The food was excellent and the service... More

Great food, nice atmosphere. Had to take a cab from hotel but it was well worth it. Loved the squid ink pasta.

We had dinner here about 1/2 way through our stay on Aruba. We found the restaurant in the Menu Guide found in most of the hotels. The menu has a varied selection (as most nice restaurants on Aruba there is almost always several seafood selections, a beef selection, a couple of chicken selections, and a pork selection). We both had... More

The wife & I stopped in for an early dinner on a Wed. evening. There was only one other couple eating. I had the fra-diavlo (very good) and my wife had the crab cake (good). We always stop in here at least once during each vacation due to it's proximity to our rental.
