Good restaurant

We went there for Mother's Day and they had a fixed price menu; appetizer, entree and dessert for $27.00. The service was a little slow and it took us a while to get through the meal. but it was Mother's Day and the restaurant was crowded. The food was good as was the atmosphere. This is our second time within a year dining at Carambola. Both times we left raving about the food. During my first visit, I had the seafood bouillabaisse and it was amazing. This time, I tried the seafood pasta and it was also fabulous. They have an enclosed outdoor dining area but both times we ate inside because of the... More

This restaurant is one of the best. I love the colors of the dining room. The black ravioli was to die for!!!!! I have never tasted a sauce so rich and full of flavor. The Keshia Yana which I probably misspelled and/or misnamed was so awesome I cannot even begin to explain. I think it will be my favorite Aruba... More

I truly enjoyed my stay in Aruba thanks largely in part to the amazing cuisine. I had been to Carambola almost everyday (5 out of 7) since I had been there because I loved the food, service, and ambiance. The appetizers were very filling. I had salads, calamari, and Keshi Yena and I was hooked. The Keshi Yena is so... More

The beef soup and three C's chowder were very good, and the salads were fresh and flavorful. The main course was where everything went downhill. The tenderloin was ordered medium rare and came out very rare. The red snapper was covered in a tasteless remoulade that seemed to have come from a can. The mashed potatoes were made from some... Selected this restaurant based on a nice menu and a desire to try somewhere new. Rumor was that the owner (Marten) fired two kitchen staff (or they walked and I couldn't blame them); it was a busy night. The waiters tried there best to keep ahead of the demand but there were issues.I told Marten we waited an hour for... More

Food is Awesome. With exception of dessert. Extremely small for price and the key lime pie was served frozen. One lady server could try a little less to be our friend and be more professional Martin, the owner, a class guy, and restaurant still worth going back to.

We went there with another couple and sat outside on the covered outdoor area, Really good peanut soup, however, the ladies in the group ordered appetizers as the main entree due to the sizable portions. Prices were moderate, and ranged according to selection, anywhere from mid-20s to $50s. Very attentive staff. Did not sample dessert which I usually do- but... More

I had the most amazing meal. It is my 15th time in Aruba and this restaurant continuously is unbelievable. I had the catch of the day with the curry sauce. Boy was it delicious. I also had the french toast a la mode. It was a desert special made by a young cook from the U.S. who was interning. It... More
