The buffet food was good, I suggest getting the fresh to order eggs , the egg white omelet was excellent. The price for the buffet was high for the few items offered.

We had dinner here on our first night. Service was slow; having two small children, it was convenient. I had a Cobb salad, which came in a big bowl, but not much salad for the $16.00 price. I asked for either crackers or a dinner roll ( did not come with it). The server brought be a partially toasted hamburger... More

We ate by the pool to save time. Although the food was well prepared and presented, the wait for it was frustrating. The server was friendly and seemed aomewhat embarrassed by the length of time we waited.

We tried to save some "time" by eating breakfast by the pool at the hotel. While the server was friendly and competent, food preparation and delivery was very slow. When the food finally arrived, it was adequate.

If your staying at the Marriott resorts in Aruba the Captains galley in the Surf club is not a bad spot. Good for a quick lunch or try the buffet dinner on Friday or Saturday. The food was pretty good for the local eatery. not any real ambiance Not worth the drive if your not staying locally

I am staying at this resort on vacation get settled in and stop in for a bite to eat . The food wasn't bad but it was very expensive. I told my I glad I brought a little extra money. I don't know what was worse the high prices or the flies we had to fight off over the course... More

While the food may be good, the prices are totally out of line. A hamburger for $13 ++ is just too much.

We ordered a few meals from here, at the pool and also once as room service. the pizza was not bad (but not close to NY/NJ pizza) and chicken fingers as you would expect but if you don't want to get out of the pool and waited too long for dinner reservations, it works. Service was hot and cold. Emanuel... More

The food is fine and the service is OK. It's expensive but convenient. If you aren't staying at the surf club, do not go out of your way to eat at captains galley.

We tried this restaurant out of convenience. The dinner menu was sparse, it looked like there was more on the lunch menu, which I believe we still could have ordered from but didn't. The food was average, but it was not meant to be fine dining. Service was very good, and they made sure we had everything we needed.
