Good Food, Weird Service

My boyfriend and I went to J.H. Yee's Asian Bistro last night for a nice dinner together. It wasn't all that busy at 8pm when we arrived. We were greeted promptly and chose to sit inside (outside dining had a 10 minute wait... Not bad! We just wanted to sit in the air conditioning). Everyone... read more

I was very skeptical about eating Chinese food anywhere other than NY. Pleasantly surprised that the Chicken & Broccoli in brown sauce was Great! My friend Loved her Wonton soup (everyone recommended) & Ginger Chicken & Broccoli. Our server was also exceptionally pleasant & gave good suggestions. I will be back.

We've passed this establishment over the years but never gave it a chance. Always felt our Aruba dining experiences needed to be local fare. My mistake by leaving this place out. Service ambiance exceptional. Food was wonderful ! Hot n Sour soup (vegetarian) excellent ! Also recommend Spring rolls, Crab Ragoon and Tahitian chicken . (Sweet n sour not syrupy... More

Had a great meal here for early bird specials with the family. Loved the secluded table with the sheer curtains around it to give a sense of privacy. Friendly waiter, Chito, made us feel right at home. They were very accommodating for the kids by allowing them to have soup with just broth and rice in it (my kids are... More

Lovely atmosphere for lunch or dinner. The lunch specials were reasonably priced and delicious.. I had Pineapple Chicken (aka Sweet and Sour Chicken) freshly prepared and well seasoned. My Husband had Orange Chicken which was crispy and delicious. The total bill was $33.0 for a wonderful lunch.

Would not recommend, it took us nearly an hour to get our food, a table of 8 that came in after us were getting food before we did. We almost left but then our food came, it was just ok, nothing special.

We had steak and shrimp and it was not very flavorful and the steak was undercooked. The fried rice was also very al dente. They forgot the dipping sauce till we were halfway done with dinner. There was really no show while cooking at the table. I think the guy was new. Overall it was very boring and disappointing. Go... More

We went twice and we,re looking forward to going again. The wonton soup was different but very good. It had wontons and vegetables. It was delicious. We had chow mein, happy family and a shrimp dish. They have inside and outside seating.

The athmosphere is this restaurant is very pleasent but the food quality and the service is under the north-american service standarts. We asked for green tea and they brought us a tea bag with hot water...then we asked for teapot...they brought the teapot with hot water and the tea bag...instead of loose tea. The food was very oily and the... More

We passed by this restaurant at least 6 times while in Aruba, finally I decided to go there for dinner with 3 friends. Oh my gosh, food was awesoooome! In fact, it was so good, my boyfriend and I went back the next day for lunch! The beef dumplings were outta this world and the soups were so delicious. Wish... More
