We heard from friends this is a wonderful and affordable place. We dined here this evening and our first surprise was the friendly greeting by both owners. Our next surprise was the very extensive beer menu. I had the paulaner wheat beer with orange/clove/banana. It was outstanding. My wife had the schnitzel and i had the sausage sampler. We thought... This place is a short walk from the high rises, which makes it a gem. Peter one of the owners is awesome - make sure you have a conversation with him! The food is true German food - authentic, the only other place we had food this good was in Germany. There are a number of German beers to chose... More

Went here our last night of a week stay. Ate at all the top restaurants the other days but I enjoy German food so wanted to try. At first disappointed they did not have the sauerbraten but I had the rounder roulade and my wife the wiener schnitzel both were excellent. The wait staff were very nice and the owner... More

Have gone by this restaurant for years and never gave it a go. Someone on the beach told me about this resturant and we tried it. I hade the sausage plate and my wife had the Grouper. Great tasting food and the service was great. We will be going back to Aruba soon and will return to this place with... More

Had the pretzels, potatoes pancakes to start. As always delicious! My husband had the sauerbraten and I had the jagershnitzel. The owner and his staff truly make your dining experience wonderful. Price is very reasonable! And the beer (they do have wine and alcohol drinks too) list is fabulous!

I just had to come here to share my story. I didn't eat here, nor did I drink here, but I had a great experience. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and I was in the process of developing a really bad virus. He was doing some laundry next door and decided to stop in here for a... More

This is a great place to have a quiet family dinner on Aruba if you want to taste good German food and beer. The restaurant is small so you feel like home. The prices are very reasonable and you even have a chance to thank the owner for a nice dish.

Aruba has superb weather but it's selection of ethnic and "local" food in the high rise area is rather lacking. We were thrilled to stumble across Bavaria and have a very tasty and authentic german meal at a reasonable price (by Aruba standards anyway). I had the chicken schnitzel with spatzle and my partner ordered the rinderroulade which came with... More

The food was great. We had brats and sauerbraten. The beer was great and selection was awesome. The owner was great - checked on us twice, asked where we were from, how we heard of them, if we had any questions. It was a little later (8:30 pm) when we got there the night before Flag Day so the waitress... More
