Today my husband was telling me that we can't leave Aruba without having Wiener schnitzel. A restaurant we previously frequented was no longer there, so I started to do a bit of research online to find a restaurant that had an excellent reputation. That's how I found Bavaria, an unbelievable "find" in an inconspicuous location. The owners made themselves very... More

We have been coming to Aruba for the last 6 years I believe our 1st year was the year this restaurant opened. Each visit is better than the last, I had a great meal tonight potato pancakes appetizer and sauerbraten with red cabbage and spaetzel. My husband had the wiener snitzel he loved it. Food was quick hot and delish.... More

We ate at Bavaria tonite and thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife started off with the potato soup, which was creamy and flavorful then she had their brautwurt dinner....nothing was left !!! I had the liver dumpling soup which I enjoyed and then the sauerbratton, which was the best I have had in years. Go early as the draft beer is... More

Excellent German food in Aruba, please take a cab (or drive) and enjoy the bratwurst, red cabbage, potatoes, sauerkraut, and baked pretzels with garlic dip. To die for. Most hotel clerks know exactly where it is so just say you are going to Bavaria and its easy to get to. The owners were outstanding, my boyfriend was unfortunately suffering from... More

We only went to the Bavaria Restaurant because we had booked the Sinatra dinner show that is performed on Sundays at Bavaria. Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we ordered the potato pancakes as an appetizer and really enjoyed them. They were served with apple sauce, but we enjoyed them on there own even more. I ordered the weiner schnitzel and it... More

My fiance and I were looking for somewhere on the island that served something besides all the standard light-bodied beers you find in every restaurant (nothing wrong with Balashi, just wanted a change!) Bavaria has a great selection of many different styles of German beer. And the food was great! We called ahead for a 5:30 reservation for 4, which... More

We got there early so there was no wait. Started with potato pancakes. They were very fresh and authentic. Good flavor, nice texture, We both had the Wiener Schnitzel. It was great in flavor and cooking but was uncharacteristically thick and tough. We will likely try other dishes again to see if it was a limited issue. You should, too!

Tried this restaurant with all its good reviews - mostly US reviews though. Restaurant was fully loaded and kitchen could not keep up. Waited hour and 20min for food. Update from staff on waiting time lacked completely. My veal sausages were fine when they finally arrived, my wife's dish almost cooled down though. Owner was sincerely sorry so hope you'll... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your review. We are sorry for the long wait. As you could see the restaurant was packed that night and indeed we could not serve the food in the expected time. Most of the guests arrived within 30 minutes and than we get a long queue of orders to serve. As we prepare our dishes... More

What a fabulous find my family and I found while on the beautiful island of Aruba! We attended Bavaria this evening as pre booked many weeks ago, after reading so many positive reviews. Our reservation was for 8pm but we arrived early with the view of sampling some German beers before our sitting. On arrival we were not greeted by anyone and we sat at the bar for 10 mins waiting to be served, once served... More

It is not possible that you got a confirmation from us for a dinner reservation on that day. If a guest call us or send us... More
