Ignore the outside setting and enjoy the great service, extensive wine list and awsome food! Walking into this restaurant means transforming yourself into another place and time to enjoy only the best.

we loved the food and service. The menu was interesting. Kids enjoyed it. The portions were fair and the food was very very good. We sat outside and watched the vendors set up.

This place had friendly service from a mostly Dutch staff and the food was very good - a little heavy with the creamy french influence. The area where it's located has a lot of shops, bars and outdoor vendors selling mostly handmade items like jewelry and bags.

We came to Aruba on our honeymoon, and chose to eat at Papillon while we were there. The food was pretty good, although slightly expensive for what you get. That was the best part of our evening. Otherwise, the experience was quite poor. The service was terrible. It took us about 20 minutes to get our first glass of wine,... More

This restaurant is walking distance from the high-rise hotels and has a terrific early bird prix fix deal. For about $30, we got a glass of wine, appetizer, entree, and dessert. (FYI: No substitutions). It was a nice atmosphere and great food. It was also right by a lively night market, which we checked out afterwards.

We just happened to run across this "hidden" restaurant while looking for a place to eat. It is tucked along side but behind Señor Frogs. We were glad we did. The Beef Bourguignon was excellent. Service was good. Too bad it is not along the main "drag" as I felt the location was a hindrance.

Been twice for dinner in Papillon during my 6 nights staying in Aruba. Service is great, and food is simply delicious. We tried 4 different appetizers and 4 main entries, all are great looking and very tasty. On my list, it's #1 restaurant in Palm-Eagle Beach

If you like French food, you will enjoy this restaurant. They have a nice selection of food on their menu, a wonderful wine selection, and the service was excellent. Nice place if you want a romantic dinner that is not right on the beach.
