We stopped in for dinner at Cafe Rembrandt hoping for a great schnitzel and a cold beer. What we got was some fantastic schnitzel! The "Rembrandt Schnitzel" is covered with grilled onions and then topped with two fried eggs. A work of art! I'm tearing up again. I get so emotional when I think about it:)

They have salads, soups, burgers, and main courses with fish, meat and chicken, but go for the dutch options! at the bar they offer good deals with local beer and vodka. I appreciate very much that its kitchen opens until late because I arrived on a late Sunday flight, and besides pizza, after 10 pm you won't find many places... More

A hidden surprise; we almost missed this place tucked in behind other shops/restaurants near the high-rises. Our group stopped in for drinks and tried various specials at their cozy little bar. The bartender was very friendly, and she was meticulous in making the drinks. We’re looking forward to trying the food on our next trip.

The restuarant is easily missable as it is slightly off the main drag, however, it was a good meal of typical Dutch food, plus some international quisine thrown in. The service was fine and the Wiener Schnitzel was great, Belgium beer was also in abundance as was I believe, Bud Lite!! Really enjoyed the evening

Upon our 1st night in Aruba this trip we took our family to what was one of our favorite restaurants. When we arrived there were only 2 occupied tables, but it was early. The wait staff was extremely slow in service and had difficulty answering our questions regarding the menu. The food was average but the service unexceptable. The restaurant... More

The food was good, that's the only reason for the stars. The wait time was atrocious. We had to wait 20 minutes for them to bring out water. The catch? There were only 2 occupied tables in the restaurant aside from ours!!!! We had to ask twice just to get water. We were there at 7pm on Friday - place... More

The visit had some high points. We loved the protien of the meal, ie pot roast and snitzel. The decor was nice felt like an old european pub. Also throught the meal was an overall good value for an expensive island. A few things that have room for improvements. Not sure if we had a new waitress but she didn't... More

We visited Aruba for the first time the week of October 19th-26th, 2014. One day while walking along the Palm Beach strip, we were handed a flyer from this restaurant. We checked the menu and decided to try it one night. They offer an early bird special for $17.50 per person which included soup, entrée and dessert. We ate outside... More

My husband and I were walking along and saw a billboard for Cafe Rembrandt. While it wasn't typical food you would eat in the Caribbean we figured what the heck we would try it. So happy we did. We have the Dutch pot roast and the weiner schnitzel, both awesome and inexpensive! This place is around the corner from Hooters... More
