This is a consistently great brunch. Omellettes cooked to order, shrimp, salmon, sushi, top round, Caribbean ham, etc, etc.all great at $51/person. Have been here many times and never disappoints.

Had a dinner with wife at the resturant. It is ok but feel "big" kitchen. Price is double if the quality if the food. Doubt we will go back.

The food was great--the scallops and crab cake appetizers were delicious. We sat outside next to the pond and watched 4 black swans swim around. It was dark but the menus lit up when you opened them--I loved it. The waiter was fantastic and they had wonderful bread and butter with the meal. We could hear the band playing in... More

This restaurant was remodeled several years ago. We tried it shortly afterwards and did not care for it, but tried again recently. The service was, as always, excellent, and the menu selections have improved. We were unfortunately left missing the old Ruinas without the over the top pricing and bright red plastic chairs or bench seating. They have succeeded in... More

Of all the restaurants that we ate at in Aruba, using the dine around plan while staying at the Raddison and Playa Linda on Palm Beach, by far the best was Las Ruinas. We both had filet mignon that was exquisitely prepared by Pellegrin, that fine chef from Brazil. The extremely tender meat was served with dutch style potatoes and... More

This restaurant is located in the Hyatt Regency. We ate all of our breakfasts there as part of the hotel's package deal. The food was always very good if not alittle on the pricey side for us, but the people are what really made us keep coming back. Fany in particular was always cheerful and helpful. The whole staff really... More

Had daily breakfasts here and loved it. The omelet station is the best. The lady that works there is amazing. As for dinner we had some good fish and wine. Be careful eating outside we had a lot of Flying ants that were eating us bring your bug spray.

We stayed 2 nights at the Hyatt during the week of 8-11 and were unsure of where to grab breakfast. We took a look at the breakfast buffet and thought overall, it was a decent value compared to what you would get elsewhere for a lot less food and quality food at that. We felt that if we had a... We really enjoyed our meals here, especially if you get a waterside tabel overlooking the black swans - beautiful! Ruinas del Mar offers an Impressive breakfast (including a great buffet if you want to fill up for the day) & is also a romantic setting for dinner. We highly recommend it if staying at the Hyatt or other nearby hotels.
