Very Nice Italian Food in an Authenticaly Decorated Restaurant

While staying at the Hyatt hotel, my wife and I wanted to try some nice Italian dishes while here on the Island of Aruba we found this restaurant to be authentic, enjoyable with food that tasted and looked great! We started with the "Carciofo romanesco IGP alla giudea" which is Italian for baby... read more

I have ate at this restaurant for the 10 years my family has been coming to Aruba. The eggplant appetizer and lasagna dinner is the best I have ever had.

Loved the food, service was good. Walking distance from the hotels area. Pasta cooked perfectly (not overdone like in most places). Prices are on the high side but the food is really good. It was really cold inside I would recommend bringing a sweater or sitting outside.

My wife and I have been in Aruba a few times and we keep coming back because the people are friendly. This Italian restaurant claiming the ONLY five star rating in the carribean did not get our approval passed the hard bread rolls. Someone needs to review this claim. Our hotel recommended this restaurant so we decided to go see... More

Wonderful Lamb Racks, good italian food, service could be better. Ambience is nice and simple... not so fancy for the prices.

Arrived in Aruba on April 1st. After a long day of travelling wanted a restaurant fairly close to the hotel without having to take a taxi. HDV fits the bill. After ten trips to the island i finally made it to this restaurant and it lived up to it's billing. I had the Veal Parm Chop and it was great.... More

The waiter automatically charged 17.5% tip to the bill. Then explained he had to share the tip with the Marriott and Hyatt. There was even a space on the stub to add additional tipping which he suggested we use. Just my wife and myself at the table and our $65 bottle of wine. Food was excellent. I think the Marriott... We happened on the restaurant when we were walking around Palm Beach and saw the sign. When we approached there were two people coming out who were from New Jersey who highly recommended it. We were fortunately there on a quiet week, so service was attentive and food came promptly. I noticed some reviews said elsewise. The waiter (Abraham) was... More

My husband and I have been visiting Aruba since 1998 which is prior to the opening of this restaurant. We remember the service and the food being much better. We made our reservations online and dined inside just a few nights ago. We were greeted and seated in front of the kitchen. The server, a tall, bleached blond young man... More
