Once again, we went to Aruba and went to the Hostaria da' Vittoria. The décor is remarkable and reflects what you might expect to find in Italy. We began our dinner by sharing an appetizer if fried calamari (it was only rings) which we followed with our entrees of Dover Sole, which were absolutely delicious and perfectly presented and deboned... We visited Vittorio to order pizzas for take-away. Yes, they are Italians ( the owner/host at least is Italian ) Yes, they have the wood-fired oven, probably the only one in Aruba. Still, at 16$ I would expect a great Margherita...it was just ok, nothing special.

We ordered our kid meal before to have it ready, but the waiter was not able to bring any food to the table before 55 minutes have passed. When we complained the owner who they call "the maestro" was unapologetic and very insulting. This was probably our 3th or 4th visit and for sure will be our last one!

We consider regarding the incident that happened; we are not going to discuss with you but we have to highlight that you were very, very rude with bad choices of words towards the Master Chef, who is the owner of the Restaurant. More

We came in around lunch and had the place almost to ourselves. We had two fantastic servers. They were very knowledgeable and we never wanted or waited for anything. You can see the food being prepared, and all of the fresh pasta they make daily behind the glass. Everything on the menu sounded fabulous. Everything we ordered was perfect. When... More

We had one of the best meals on the island at Hosteria Vittorio. The restaurant was recommended by several as the best Italian on the island and they were right. Although it wasn’t on the menu, I asked for a simple penne with marinara sauce. They gladly obliged and it was one of the best marinara sauces I’ve had. My... More

Warning this place is a fraud if you love Italian food. The food was not good at all the fried calamari was soft, soggy and Gross! The baked eggplant was disgusting and not eidible. The main course was not good the veal parmigiana was not done correctly, it was soggy and had fat on it with no flavor. However my... More

Our friend that lives in Aruba highly recommended this restaurant. She went with us and has been many times. However, this was an absolutely terrible experience for eating out. Our 1st waiter totally demeaned our friend and was cocky and extremely rude. We asked for another waiter but service was still ridiculously slow (1 1/2 hours to get food). She... More

First time we ate here was way back in 2001. Although we were back to Aruba in 2010 - 11-12, we never got to go here. This time around I made sure we went. It's a bit further back from the Blvd, but worth the walk. Italian food made like mama used to make. Food was just as I remembered.... More
