Freshly prepared and made to order. Service is impeccable. Casual dining but unique and authentic Italian food.
This year we went to Sole mare with a group of 8, and most of us were disappointed. We have been eating at Sole Mare for several years now, and really enjoyed it in the past, but this year the service was worse than ever and the food has gone downhill. It has turned into a tourist trap, one that... More
Went to this restaurant on a recommendation and we were pleasantly surprised. Great service, nice atmosphere. Delicious salmon and pasta dish and reasonably priced. Nice size portions and great presentation. Great for couples and families. Waiters could not do enough for us. Will go back again.
We always go to Gianni's, and tried this place based on a recommendation. We were pleasantly surprised at the service, quality and selections. We started with Pasta E Fagiole, and Caprese Salad, both were excellent. The waiter came with garlic toast and fried polenta with a spicey marinara sauce. We ordered Linguini and Clams and Riggatoni in a Vodka sauce.... More
We visit this small, quaint restaurant every time we are in Aruba. You will truly regret it if you don't go and try the Spaghetti Formaggio Parmigiano...it is served for two and the best meal you will eat on the Island (and don't forget a side of meatballs) Yum!
Having enjoyed Sole Mare last year after waiting many years to even go to the place, we were pleasantly surprised to have an even more satisfying experience this year (2014). Our initial aversion to the place was that we had heard rumors that it was an older establishment on the decline. Last year disproved those rumors but we still were... More
The food was wonderful, service VERY ATTENTIVE. I had never seen the process they go through with formaggio cheese pasta and we got to watch that, and our waiter was kind enough to explain about it. You need reservations, but we got there early enough one evening that they had room to seat us. The restaurant filled up quickly, atmosphere... More
We waited at the reception area for 10 minutes before they acknowledged that we were even there. Plus it was very noisy. Once we got our table we got ice water and bread, but was never asked if we wanted a cocktail. Service was very, very slow. The prices were high for average meals. We have been to Sole Mare... More

Menu prices were high enough, but the waiter announced a grouper special topped with clams in a sauce which I don't remember. No price announced, so I asked. $45 ! Forty five dollars for grouper just doesn't seem right. We both opted for the veal parm priced at $31. It came with a side of pasta. My wife asked for... More
