Good, but overpriced!

Good Italian food, and the service was outstanding. They start you off with their delicious garlic bread - that was an unexpected treat. The portions themselves were quite small for the price you're paying. My daughter ordered a plain Caesar salad, and it cost $9.50! You can only imagine the cost... read more

We go there every year so my husband and I can get the pasta made in the cheese wheel. And again this year it was amazing! So we said lets go back one more time this trip to try something else on the menu. So happy we did. Our dishes were perfect! The only complaint I would ever say is... More

We dined here on in 4/3 with a party of 9-4 of which were kids-everyone loves their food! Steak was cooked perfectly as were each of the pasta dishes. Service was great as well. It is expensive but so are most places on the island. Difference is this place was worth every penny!

The staff were dressed nicely and professional while being friendly and helpful. Seating was not crowded and divided in a few different rooms. They provided a good wine menu and a very full dinner menu. We had the Caprese salad, white beans and pasta soup, lemon veal and pasta. All were well balanced in flavor and generous portions. There was... More

The food and service were excellent. Loved the sangria! We have not had better service anywhere in Aruba. I ordered the Rigatoni alla vodka with a salad. The Italian dressing was a little different, it was solid versus liquid, but it was very tasty. My husband ordered the fruti di mare over linguini. We both loved our meals. The dessert... More

Just had dinner here tonight. Used to be our favorite restaurant in Aruba. Sold to new owners 5 to 6 years ago -- has gone down the drain ever since. Had the absolute worst service I have had in a restaurant in 30 years. Staff totally dazed and confused. No one knew what to do or how to do it.... More

- I’d say good not great, honestly I didn’t think the food was any better than Casa Tua which is more casual and 1/3 of the price. My wife and I have tried a number of Italian restaurants on Aruba and yet to find one that I’d say was great. Once again I think Casa Tua is one I’d send... More

This was my second time to Sole Mare. The first time I went, I was blown away by the food and the service. This time, the service was still great, but the food was mediocre. We went for dinner, and it was pricey. I thought the quality and portions were really not great at all. We left disappointed. I would... More
