A Hidden Gem

Delimar is only a very short distance from the Renaissance Hotel where we were staying, but it is somewhat off the beaten path and was hard to find. Many locals were unable to direct us to the restaurant. However, once there, our experience was wonderful. The food is fresh, authentic and... read more

I ate here in the past and the food was good, but this time the customer service was terrible. We went there for dinner a couple of weeks ago, we had 8 people in the group and when we got there they only had 4 or 5 small tables open, so we told them we do not mind you can... More

My fiance and I shared the Ceviche Mixto as an appetizer. Huge portion. More than enough for two and very, very flavorful! I ordered the Lomo Saltado as the main course. it was delicious...until I found a hair in it 75% through. I brought it to the waiter's attention (he insisted it was part of the steak then ignored us).... More

I ate the beef and schrimp skewers, chaufan de pollo and had lomo saltado before. All of these dishes are great and the price is good too. Definitly recommend this restaurant!

Beautiful presentation of the food and generous portions describe our visit. The fish of the day was mahi mahi and deliciously prepared. The octopus was incredibly tender and delicious. Do not miss this restaurant!

Located a stone's throw from the Renaissance hotel, this Peruvian restaurant is right next door to Yemanja (another great place to eat). Started off with a couple of Pisco sours (what else?) and then their cebiche (ceviche) made with fish, shrimp and octopus. Surprised by the yuca, the piece of sweet potato and the large roasted corn kernels. Googled it... More

We've been coming here in July for the past four years and continue to be impressed by the freshness and unique flavors of each of the dishes we have tried. Marcos the owner, Lorena, his wife, and their staff have introduced us to the spices and variations of the Peruvian cuisine and have always made us most welcome. We look... More

We happened upon this place while driving downtown, so we checked it out on July 28 (Peru's Independence Day). The food was very authentic and delicious. We had the causa, ceviche, aji de gallina and pulpo anticuchero. The flavored were stop on as well as the service. Luis (our waiter) was very helpful and had great recommendations. Definitely check this... More

My husband and I both ordered seafood dishes. He had mahi mahi and I had mixed spicy seafood. Both served with rice and were filling. Definitely recommend.
