Description: Aruba is all about the fabulous beaches during the day, and the many great...
Aruba is all about the fabulous beaches during the day, and the many great restaurants at night. It is only logical that these two unique things of Aruba are combined into one! Luc & Gerco found the perfect spot to synergize great food, and a beautiful setting to create an experience almost unique on our island. When listening to the ocean caressing the shore, while wiggling your toes through the pearly white sand, why not let yourself be pampered by a gourmet dinner? Chef Gerco & Maitre d' Luc had a shared dream of opening up a restaurant here, but wanted something in line with what they enjoy on Aruba: the nearly perfect climate, the possibility to always be outside, the tropical feel... When opening their restaurant, they had these ideas in their heads, and it worked like a charm! Tables under a large palapa on a wooden deck with a view of the ocean, or outside under the Aruban nights sky, on the pristine beach... An original menu was created by Gerco and Justin, with some of the old school favorites (sirloin with bearnaise, or tuna steak with teriyaki) as well as some original dishes not found anywhere, with unique combinations (smoked salmon & shrimp, grouper & mango or leg & rack of lamb) and wonderful vegetarian dishes. With the help of the local wine suppliers, Luc made an extensive wine list, with wines from all over the world, and is always ready to pair a wine with your dinner. The experienced service team is friendly yet professional, ready to wow you from the moment you walk in, to make a fabulous evening into a great memory on Aruba!

This place is definitely worth the trip if you want to relax and watch the sunset with your feet in the sand while eating. The sun sets fast, so make sure you have your camera ready. Be sure to make a reservation if you want a table on the beach, but there are a few excellent tables with views in... More

My three friends and I were celebrating our birthdays. We were greeted with a table with our toes not only in the sand but almost in the water (which we loved!). After we were seated, we each were brought a glass of champagne to toast our birthdays. The service was excellent, I'm sure the was grouper was caught about an... More

I really enjoyed my meal here. Romantic for sure. The crab cakes we good, but not great. My Caribbean Grouper was decadent and delicious. The hubs loved his sirloin too. While I liked the banana-misu, it wasn't the best dessert I've had. Still, the setting alone calls for a visit. It's wonderful at sunset. Arrival at 6:30 was perfect for... More

This restaurant was by far the best place to eat that we found in Aruba! Flying Fishbone does not even compare. We actually enjoyed the place so much that we went twice during the week we were there. The tables in the sand are so unique and it really makes for a great experience and the food is also to... More

My wife and I were very excited to dine at Barefoot out on their beach. But the actual dining experience was a little disappointing. We felt like we were rushed to eat as our meals came out to us within 5 minutes of our order. And the food was just okay in our opinion. Not bad, but not memorable. Considering... More

A beautiful spot to have dinner and watch the sunset! Reservations are a must especially if you want to be seated on the beach. Food prices were fine dining range but the food was excellently prepared-could have been a bit warmer when served but otherwise delicious.
