This was the best meal I had on the entire trip. As someone else said, there are places in Aruba that claim "5 star" or that even here on TA have good reviews but this was the only place that I was actually TOTALLY impressed by. I heard about it through here and something told me to just take a...

Go here for the food (which was very good!!) - décor inside felt a little odd...the walls had some incredibly tacky pictures, plates...things that people sell in a tag sale and later toss because nobody wanted it - basically the inside could use a bit of a face-lift (if I were to be honest with TA readers). That said...please know...

Take a taxi !!!! But this is the best local food and great service in town. All the other reviews are accurate. Just do it.
Let's face it, a lot of Aruba restaurants are getting five star reviews on trip-advisor. Some are worthy of five stars, considering they're reaching their goal (eg, Pizza Bob's is pretty good pizza and a fun atmosphere) - but few are truly amazing finds with "five star food". Had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. It takes some effort to find this place just outside of downtown, but it is well worth it. The food is phenomenal. We made a reservation, but didn't need it the night that we were there. It is a small place. The food is exceptional. The "sushi" appetizer is great.
Excellent service, interesting menu choices. My husband had the cabrito prepared Aruban style, and it was tender and flavorful, I had a beef tenderloin with a guava reduction that was also quite nice. They have this home-made condiment on the table that was so delicious-- hard to describe. Looked like a mustard, but was actually a puree of peppers and...

Loved this off the beaten path, small, authentic, cozy restaurant. Host/owner Jose and his staff we friendly and attentive. Sangria was delicious- the white sangria has nutmeg in it for a delicious and unexpected twist. Food was fantastic- fish and meats cooked just right, and I must say, stand out on their own without all the extra sauces that are...
