Gostoso Excellent Restaraunt

We have visited this place more than once and for good reason. It simply has terrific food. The waiters are superb and wait on you hand and foot. The food is superb. The Sangria is homemade and wonderful. We've been here threes times over two years and will be back next year. This place is highly... read more

The best restaurant experience for me in Aruba. We made a reservation on our last night in Aruba and were not disappointed. I ordered the Aruban creole conch and their special,a seafood medley (lobster tails, grouper, shrimp, scallops and etc) with a coconut curry sauce. AMAZING!!!! My mom ordered the chicken parmesan and thought it was good, but in my... More

Take an old coking tradition for fish as the Portuguese one add some Caribbean spices and you will get the flavor of Gostoso. Located a bit far from the noise and packed place run by a gentlement proud for being aged and of his Portuguese <Madeiras> origins. The list is reach of tasteful dishes but do ask for the daily... We learned about Gostoso via research on Tripadvisor and it did not disappoint! The food was outstanding and Jose, the owner, greeted us and sat with us for a bit in between courses. I enjoyed a delicious salad and steak while my husband raved about the seafood. The sauces are amazing!!! It's a bit out of the way and small,... More

Owner is very nice. Food is excellent. Not your typical Portuguese food but definitely delicious. A bit pricey but well worth it. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to Aruba. They offer a sushi roll with plantain and shrimp tempura.. a MUST try, delicious!

I cannot remember the last time that I had food this good. I had the stuffed chicken with pasta and it was amazing. I must have looked crazy because I did not stop shoving food in my mouth until my plate was empty. Then, I picked up the last piece of pasta with my fingers because I could not get... More

Back after one year to Aruba, we could not miss to visit Gostoso. As returning guests, we've been warmly welcomed by both Jose ( the owner & chef ) and Rocky ( the head waiter ). As usual, before choosing from the menu, let Rocky explain you the (long list of) specials. All the dishes we've had ( Creole sushi... More

One of my favorite restaurants, you should have this one one your list. Small and quaint and with a local touch. Jose the owner is amazing and the food he creates is delicious. I am less impressed with the location and ambiance because it is indoors, but the food is more than worth it. Jose's food is so good he... More

For the past several years while visiting Aruba we have dined at Gostoso 2-3 times and this trip was no different. The food is exceptionally prepared, service is excellent and the ample menu choices will satisfy all. Our thanks to Jose the owner, Rocky the head waiter and the rest of the Gustoso staff.

Small restaurant hidden away in a neighborhood but it's worth seeking out this little gem. The owner and staff are super friendly. Our family really enjoyed our meal from the White Sangria to the flan for desert. My boys tried blood sausage for the first time and loved it. Authentic Portuguese food!
