We have been reading about Gostoso for years and finally decided to try it. In town, a little out of the way, Gostoso is run by its owner who was very friendly and told us the history of the restaurant and how he would like to expand in the future. It is a small place but cozy and clean. We... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant tonight and had a wonderful meal! I had the surf and turf and the steak was especially good and tender and the grouper was very good as well. We also enjoyed the tres leche sponge cake for dessert. Over all a very nice, small restaurant a little off the beaten path.

Great place to eat and reasonable prices. The wife and I fell in love with a homemade sauce they make for dipping. I actually asked the waitress if i can bring some home with us. She had the cook fill two tabasco bottles with the sauce so i could take it home. Great people.

We arrived without a reservation and they were able to seat us. The service by our waiter, Rocky, was excellent. The food was very good. As we have had so many great meals in Aruba the bar for excellent has been set a little higher. Prices were competitive. I would not hesitate recommending Gostoso. .

My friend and I visited this great restaurant in January and were so impressed: had read good reviews already before trying it out, but must say that still the feel of the place was even better than expected - impaccable sweet service and seriously the best steak medaillon I've ever eaten (and that's saying a lot)..! ;) All-round simply lovely... We went to Gostoso for the first time on our first trip to Aruba. It was hands down our favorite meal after trying out at least 10 other restaurants. The owner/chef was very friendly and the food was excellent. We ordered the conch appetizer and the plaintain wrapped sushi- both were great. The sushi was a very large portion and... More

This was my favourite restaurant of the 9 or 10 that we ate at while in Aruba. It is a Portuguese restaurant that is so homey and interesting inside with lots of momentos from different contries on the walls. Most of us ordered from the section of the menu that had the authentic Portuguese dishes. I had a chicken curry... More

Over the past several years, we had been hearing some very nice things about this place. So we set out to find it on our own and failed - two years in a row! Having learned from that lesson and having reviewed the menu with great interest, this year (2014) we simply grabbed a taxi; told the driver where we... More

This is a small family owned restaurant. Our family of 8 with a toddler, a vegetarian, and one with many allergies received excellent service. The grouper was awesome. We sampled several of the desserts with the tres leche being the favorite.
