We were happy to see locals come in (some still dressed in carnival costumes) because that's usually a hint that the food is good. Actually the food was awsome.

My family and I visited Aruba for a week. We stayed at Tierre Del Sole, which is a villa community located on a golf course. We wanted to go someplace fancy for our last night on the island and made reservation at the California Light house due to it being close to the villa. After reading reviews on the California... This restaurant was hard to review in some ways. Both the food and the service had some ups and downs. But regardless of those things, there was a love, caring, and passion in this little restaurant that just came through loud and clear. It was a greater dining experience than the sum of its parts. It just felt authentic and... More

This was our second trip back to Aruba and this restaurant. The food is wonderful- everything tastes like it's fresh and someone has put their heart into it. The chef/owner is out talking to guests and each item we ordered- we wished we would have ordered more of. The plaintain wrapped "sushi" is very tasty and the seafood chowder is... More

I can't take credit for this little gem...I read about it in a cruise/travel book. But, this was a dead on recommendation. First, it's off the beaten track. In fact, it felt like we were in a residential area (kinda dark and not next to other restaurants, etc) and was about a $10 cab ride from the cruise terminal area,... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant on Valentine's day and we may say it was well worth the visit. The service was impeccable and the owner chef was very attentive with his friendly charisma. The restaurant specializes in international and local cuisine with the accent on Portuguese cuisine since the owner is of Portuguese origin. The restaurant itself is... More

This was our first visit to Gostoso and will not be out last. You either need a car or taxi to get there. We were greeted by the owner who is very passionate about his restaurant and menu. He personally told us about all the specials on the menu it was tough to make a choice since everything sounded so... More
