We had our Thanksgiving meal at Driftwood last year and were amazed by the food. We live on the Gulf of Mexico and have had snapper prepared a lot of ways but they had a dish called Aruban Snapper that was to die for. Please check this place out!

This place is, at best, average. I would liken it to your typical tourist spot everyone goes to because it is part of a tour or cruise package. There is nothing spectacular about the food or its preparation. The food was luke warm, the sauces were on the side and not used in preparation and the vegetables were easy to... More

The prices were ridiculous to start. We decided on sharing appetizers and were less than satisfied. My husband got the fish stew which was crappy chicken broth with fish thrown in to it. I ordered a crab cake that was supposed to have fresh lump crab meat. More like stale lumps of stuffing! Was tasteless and I couldn't taste or... More

The good part first - the onion soup with melted Gouda very good and the wahoo pan fried also very good. Now the bad news - the drinks were horrible. The piña colada with a fresh banana sounded good good but it was void of any hint of rum. The peach martini absolutely awful, served warm and with no peach... More

Our very first meal on our first day in Aruba... My husband and I decided to eat here on Sept. 30th after we checked into our hotel. We caught the bus to downtown and walked around and made our way over to this place around 5:30pm. We didn't have reservation but they accept walk-ins. The place was clean nothing fancy... More

We asked the taxi driver to take us to a Caribbean restaurant and he drove us to the Driftwood. It might be hard to find on your own, even if it is located in the town. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The walls were of driftwood and guests had written names etc. on the walls. The food was very good,... More

Outstanding menu and service...not offered unless you ask - they have a 3 - course menu for $25.95 with excellent choices for starters - entrees - desserts. Management is active to be sure your party is satisfied with each course...two different bread courses to kill for. Homemade soup and salad dressing are excellent. Fish of the day prepared several ways... More
