Great shrimp!

We ate at Driftwood our first night in Aruba based on a recommendation from our resort. The food was great! My husband ordered the catch of the day, which was fantastic. I had garlic shrimp. We split the coconut shrimp as an appetizer. The food was delicious, and the decoration was really neat too... read more

The food and service were both great. If you don't have any coupons, asked for the fixed menu. There are good choices and the portions didn't seem any smaller than the normal menu.

We ate the fish we caught that morning on the charter. It was excellent. The blackened was the best. Excellent meal. I would highly recommend if you want fresh fish.

The food is always above average, although not necessarily gourmet, nor elegant. For Oranjestad, we do not find this restaurant pricey. They do try to turn over customers rapidly.

The person I was traveling with and I don't have a problem paying very decently for a meal deserving of it. However, I found this restaurant only average at best. We shared one crab cake as an appetizer, which was good, but not great. It's a seafood restaurant yet on my dinner plate the vegetables (sliced carrots and broccoli) out... More

went tonight to this restaurant. Both ordered seafood. Partner ordered shrimp and it was good, i had wahu Aruba style. Fish was a little dry as the sauce was on the side. Surprised since the fish is caught by the owner and restaurant is very casual that prices for each meal were in high $20's without tax and service charge... More

We went with the $25 starter, dinner and dessert. It was okay, nothing special. We had a vegetarian in our party, and they were able to make up a pasta with vegetables, but did not have an actual vegetarian menu. Overall it was an okay place to eat once, but would not go back because there are so many other... More

This is our 3rd day on the island of Aruba and so far Driftwood has had the best service in town ! The wait staff were very attentive and the food came quicker than another place we have been in the last 3 days. We sat down ,drinks were ordered and then served , along with some tasty garlic bread.... More

Fish was so so and overly cooked. Martini was terrible. But the ambiance is kind of quirky, if you want to pay for looks.
