Heard about this restaurant from a friend. It was delicious, service was great, and the atmosphere was great. Definitely plan on coming back next year.

The food was very good and so was the service( i thought ) my complaint is that we were not aware that there was a 3 course dinner special that the waiter never mentioned . so our meal cost us approximately 100.00 dollars more than it should have. I saw the flyer the next day and boy were we upset.... More

We saw an advertisement in a local dinning magazine, so we decided to try it. The restaurant is celebrating its 25th anniversary and had a 3 course dinner special. We had to ask for the dinner special menu when we were seated because we only had the regular menu. The service was top notch with very attentive staff that kept... More

Driftwood has been a steady stop for us on Aruba for more than 10 years. They have a Driftwood Special for $ 26.95 USD per person not including service charge that includes garlic bread, appetizer, main course, desert & coffee/tea. Type of fresh fish changes daily (Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo and Grouper most recent). Can become crowded especially after 7:00 PM. Make... More

We liked the atmosphere. We had heard that this was a place we must try. I thought it was good, but not awesome. The grouper was served with baked potato and salad and was not really any better than I could get at. A local seafood restuarant at home, which is by the way not on the coast. I that... More

The owner goes out during the day and catches fresh fish for their specials at night. We had Mahi Mahi that he caught earlier that day. The time of the year we went, we didnt require a reservation, but most of the time you need one. September is their non-busy month so I recommend going then!

We were recommended to go here by our taxi driver when we came from the airport and went on a Wednesday. The place is located in central Oranjestad and it's easy to walk from the bus station which we did. However, it's not in a location that you would be likely just to happen to pass by, it's a bit... Im not sure you can have a fresher meal than this. Catch it, Cook it. Everything from the service to the bread to the drinks was wonderful here. It was a small place, with about 13 servers working. I think they had them doubled up, because we were never without anything we needed!
