Fresh seafood , great service

This is a great locally owned seafood restaurant. Fish couldn't be more fresh- the owner catches the fish you eat that night. You can even go fishing with him. Staff very attentive. Everyone visited- more water or more garlic bread or another drink. You never have to look for someone to... read more

When in downtown Oranjestad a must for dinner. Reasonable prices and a full meal. We always send first time visitors for a fresh fish and special night out.

A real oldtime sea harbor restaurant with just inside seating. Exceptional menu. The owner does his own fishing daily for the "fresh catches" of the day. It appears to be family run with very attentive service. Nice selection of appetizers. Some restaurants were overpriced. Not this one. Ask for their nightly specials. Add this place to your dining option.

THis place is about two block behind the Rennaisance (away from the water). A little hard to find but worth the trip. Fresh succulent seafood in a quiet relaxed (but indoors) setting. Ambience is kind of like an old family restaurant. Fish motif and scrap grayed wood decor. Nothing fancy, though the booths along the side offer some quiet. All... More

This is our third visit to the Driftwood. Located in a less than desirable section of downtown, take a cab and leave by cab. You are welcomed with several servers and talked with until you ask for the specials menu. Then you are left alone! The same items from the regular menu are available. Several fish with different sauces, steak,... More

The person that owns the place is also a fisherman, so the fish you eat was probably swimming in the ocean earlier that day

Driftwood was recommended to us by the hotel for nice local food. It was closeby and when we went in we saw that it was a tourist spot. Tables everywhere and crowded. Interesting architecture inside, literally drift wood, nice. Service and food was okay however the prices were a little bit on the high side. It's a tourist spot.
