Im not sure you can have a fresher meal than this. Catch it, Cook it. Everything from the service to the bread to the drinks was wonderful here. It was a small place, with about 13 servers working. I think they had them doubled up, because we were never without anything we needed!

Ate there with my husband and 3 friends. We all had the catch of the day (mahi mahi) cooked either grilled or fried. Was delicious but not innovative. The service was flawless and a nice wine list. Top notch food for Aruba but would just be good in more cosmopolitan areas in the states. You do need to make reservations.... More

My family and I ate at Driftwood. My husband and son had the blackened Grouper. I had the shrimp scampi and my other son had chicken parm. We all said how delicious the food was. Make reservations. Well worth it!

My husband is a food director. He has been responsible for eateries and very upscale catering; think movie premiers, magazine events and cosmetic empires. He has worked in France, England, Africa the Caribbean and the US. He knows food. I have just a little experience in the food industry but have eaten quite a bit :-) in France, Amsterdam, the... Driftwood was recommended to my wife and I by our taxi driver after our reservations for another restaurant fell through. We were seated promptly without having reservations. The owner runs a charter fishing boat and catches fresh fish daily, which is then served that same day. We both ordered the fresh mahi mahi and we're highly impressed with the preparation.... More

We went to Driftwood our last night in Aruba because so many people had recommended it to me. The food was just average (except the cornbread was amazing and tasted like an oversized pancake). It would be good for families, but as the other reviews stated it it not romantic. If you are going to go because of a recommendation,... More

We visited Driftwood this past summer with a large group of friends. Every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meals. The fish is caught fresh daily as this restaurant has its own fishing boat, and the catch of the day is always guaranteed to impress. Portions are generous, yet the prices are very reasonable. We love the Aruban bread... More

The freshest fish on Aruba. Good food at reasonable prices. Check for the special deals in the local papers.

Have been visiting here for years and the fish is great. Usually visit a couple times a visit. Fish is prepared five different ways.
