We were visiting Aruba for a wedding. We had a large party of family and friends. The owners could not have been more accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. We all ordered different things from the menu and no one was disappointed. We felt we were visiting family. The place is quaint and the owner shared some stories and jokes... More

We just love this restaurant. The son is still cooking and Dad is still waiting on us. Love his stories. He keeps us in wine and water. I can't seem to get past ordering the Arubian Sampler but this time they let me substitute because I wanted the goat stew which is a melt in your mouth dish. We couldn't... More

After having a wonderful time at Gasparito last year, Mom and I returned this year, hoping for a "repeat" of last year's experience. The restaurant is owned by a married couple and, upon arrival, we were greeted by the husband. We were the first guests of the evening, and after we were seated, our host chatted with us a bit.... We have been going to Gasparito's for the past four years. Each time we eat there, the food is amazing. I wish we had a restaurant like this in NY. Each dish is prepared with small sides, such as plantain, rice and carrots, surrounding the main meal in an artful manner. Every entree we have tried is just delicious including... More

This is restaurant owned and operated by a family. The second generation (Cook) is preparing all fresh vegetables with passion for cooking. They are going to grow their own vegetables in the coming years. This place should be watched and enjoyed. Bid hard to find but worth to take the taxi drive!!

As indicated by other reviewers, this is a father and son run restaurant that keeps the number of guests per night to 15. Reservations are necessary. We enjoyed a family dinner where we ordered keshi yena, fish, shrimps, filet mignon and quesillo. The food was of great quality and the service was friendly. We also enjoyed the pieces of history... I found this gem and saw the reviews and was super excited to visit. It did not disappoint. This is an owner and his son, and his son must be miracle chef because he cooks every item to order so the restaurant cannot exceed 20 ppl at a time. I had the Mahi Mahi which was cooked to perfection and... More
