I had noticed this Restaurant on a previous visit to Aruba but did not get a chance to dine in. This time when my friend suggested we dine in the Restaurant, I was definitely in. This place had a cool temperature just as we entered with smiling servers and welcome. The menu was exhaustive and they had a huge number... More

Fresh and tasty. We went there twice as we liked the food very much. I would recommend sizzler kind of food there, it was so yum!

It might be odd to eat Indian/Pakistani cuisine in Aruba - but if you do - THIS is the place to go. Less expensive than the other tourist friendly Indian restaurants on the island and MUCH better quality. Try the Daal Tarka

Loved it, just make sure if you can't handle super hot, too let them know. I eat Indian all the time but a novice would think it was hot.

Craving some spicy food we visited the Taj for something different. The place was empty but the lovely welcome from Frieda more than made up for it. They had no Kingfisher ( the chinese we went to also had no Tsingtao ) due to import issues, so Balashi it was. The decor is nothing to mention and we were dubious... More

We visited for dinner around 8pm. The place was moderately busy with 4 other tables (some came in after us). Service was extremely slow, and although we didn't order any appetizers, we weren't given any pappodum to keep us busy either. My husband and I have been to many Indian restaurants and we feel that we can identify the best... More

after a 10km+ walk from the high rise hotels to downtown the taj mahal awaited us! we ordered a lunch special which consisted of lamb(bone in) choice od rice or naan(good portion size) for 10$ & an order of chicken makhani (medium spice level) with basmati~both dishes were piping hot temperature wise & the spice level was bang on! it... lunch at Taj Mahal was an unexpected treat. We paired Chicken Biriyani and Palak Paneer with some fresh Naan. A couple of Heineken's rounded it out. I was not sure what to expect from a just-off-the-beaten-path Indian restaurant in Oranjestad, but we both really enjoyed the fresh, hot and tasty dishes. A bit pricey for lunch, but quality was up... More

Came to this restaurant while on my honeymoon in 2011. The food was surprisngly good! Never had indian food outside of USA and India, and this in Aruba was great! We were actually surprise that the island had a couple of indian restaurants. It was expensive to what its worth, but when you're on an island and want something really... More

Pleasantly quiet and off the beaten track. The food was really great, but the decor was cheesy (Including a big, framed, bedazzled picture of the Taj Mahal).
