lunch at Taj Mahal was an unexpected treat. We paired Chicken Biriyani and Palak Paneer with some fresh Naan. A couple of Heineken's rounded it out. I was not sure what to expect from a just-off-the-beaten-path Indian restaurant in Oranjestad, but we both really enjoyed the fresh, hot and tasty dishes. A bit pricey for lunch, but quality was up... More

Came to this restaurant while on my honeymoon in 2011. The food was surprisngly good! Never had indian food outside of USA and India, and this in Aruba was great! We were actually surprise that the island had a couple of indian restaurants. It was expensive to what its worth, but when you're on an island and want something really... More

Pleasantly quiet and off the beaten track. The food was really great, but the decor was cheesy (Including a big, framed, bedazzled picture of the Taj Mahal).

What can you expect from any ubiquitous Indian restaurant named Taj Mahal? Well, generic Indian food! And this is no different. The masala chai was terrible with no signs of any masala, the samosas were fresh but very hard crust, the veg kofta seemed premade and dense, though the spinach sauce tasted watery but fresh. The naans were hot and... More

The food was ok but most of it seemed reheated. The service was good. My average rating is based on the food. Good but not worth making the entire trip for.

Ate here last year when we were here, excellent Indian curry in the middle of the carribean, food was tasty and very generous portion sizes at reasonable prices, well worth a visit if you fancy a curry

Went for lunch and was very pleased. Portions are very big and more suited to dinner but no lunch menu available. They did a great job with how hot we wanted our food, my husband and I often feel we can't get restaurants to make it hot enough but at Taj Mahal they listened! Great food for fair prices! Would... Every once in awhile as a traveler, you come across a restaurant that demonstrates the worst of travel, worthy of the name “tourist trap“. Alas it fits this “business” to a tee. We stopped in last week and although the place was completely empty since Arubans tend to dine late, we did not immediately run. Our mistake. I ordered the... More

Cooked to order with your own preference in HEAT! Have it mild, have it VINDALOO. This little restaurant is down by the bus station and has suffered a bit from the rerouting of traffic and construction, in the area, but was as great as ever, on our last visit. Cozy, good service, in fact our server has been there for... More

This place is superb......if you want amazing kiss botty service and mediocre food then don't bother coming here and visit pretty much any other restaurant on the island.....However if you are looking of a great curry then this is the place to visit.... The meat is excellent without fat or gristle and perfectly cooked, I asked for chicken tikka jalfriezi... More
