You want great steak then you go to El Gaucho

El Gaucho was a very nice steak surprise. the appetizers were ok and the wine list was just right. I ordered a T-Bone steak (32 oz) but really wanted to do the 38 oz porterhouse steak. thanks to my wife I did not for my T-Bone could have fed half the population of Bolivia. It was thick juicy and... read more

My husband insisted we try this place..he is a meat and potatoes kind of guy and wanted a big juicy steak. It was just ok. Nothing impressive and way overpriced....we left feeling sad after having so much great food locally....

We saved our visit for the last night of our vacation. Sorry we did. We were a party of 6 and we felt that we were rushed out in an effort to turn the table. While no one else had problems with their food, I was very disappointed to see lots of fat around the bone of my porterhouse. I... More

Dear Guest, I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the porterhouse because it contained fat. We clearly mark in our menu the cuts that do contain fat and the reason we keep it on (keeps the beef juicier when grilling). Our Porterhouse weights over 38 oz, I am sure you must have had some nice and tender strip... More

By far the best steak I had in Aruba. Service was amazing as well. Very big portions you will never leave hungry. Empanadas are my favorite

We reserved beforehand and had a great table with plenty room to sit after a short wait. Both of us had the Gaucho steak and this one pound steak did not disappoint. Mine was actually medium rare and my wife's was medium just like we ordered. The only minor remark is we had to ask twice before our bottle of... More

I visit the El Gaucho restaurant every time I am in Aruba. Go hungry and order the El Gaucho steak...My Favorite. My spouse likes the shish ka bob (sp?). Local Aruban ambiance, charming, and relaxing.

We used to always love to go to this place and enjoy the great steaks and such but the last time I'm afraid was little disappointing. The prices had gone up significantly and so had the service charge. It is quite a while ago we went but what I really noticed is how they had a pamphlet at the door... More

El Gaucho came highly recommended by my friends who had been to the island and this meal did NOT disappoint! The steak was some of the best we've ever had. The crust on the outside of the meat was so flavorful. I had the tenderloin (great filet alternative) and my husband, who likes a fattier cut, had the ribeye. It... More
