Incredible experience!

Was recommended by a number of people we met while in Aruba for the best steaks. They were right! The service was first class, staff was very prompt and courteous and spent time talking to us about things to see and do. We started off with the shrimp cocktail appetizer. My wife and I took our first trip to Aruba and every person we spoke to who had been there before, told us "you have to go to El Gaucho!". So of course that was the first place we made reservations for. Very nice place, we ordered salads and steaks, but about halfway through our salads we noticed a 2... More

This is a must go to on Aruba.its very South American The waiter shook hands with all of us before we started. We were with family that have been coming for 28 years so they knew what to order. We took their lead.we all ordered the meal with three sauces. The portions are large enough for each of us to... More

This has been one of my favorite restaurant worldwide since I first went 11 years ago. I went every time I visited to Aruba and last week was no different. This was my first time since 2008 and not much has changed. I did miss seeing the steaks come out on wood butcher blocks and some of the side dished... More

Came here with friends for dinner. The staff was helpful and friendly. Had the most incredible Caribbean style conch and sangria. The grand finale was of course, the Gaucho Steak. Absolutely incredible! I've been to many steak houses and this takes the cake. Make sure you come here. Don't walk. Run. You won't be disappointed.

We wanted to go to a steak place and El Gaucho was excellent! The garlic bread was warm and the chimichurri to die for! Our waiter, Lyndon was very personable and responsive, and the food was outstanding as it was prepared to perfection and very tasty. You get 3 sides with your meal (not a la carte like at some... This is one of the highest rated restaurants on the island, especially for steak. The atmosphere was casual, good for kids. There were two singers going table to table singing a surprising variety of songs (they sang Hotel California on our request). If you order the ribs, keep in mind they are Caribbean-style, and not the fall-off-the-bone, tender ones you'd... More

We stopped in here one night without reservations on the off chance that we could get seated. They were very accommodating and within 25 minutes we had a table. The food was amazing and the portions were awesome. The Argentinian Grill was enough for three meals. It is definitely some of the best meat I have ever eaten. The staff... More
