I admit the food was pretty good. My veal chop was very flavorful. And the service was attentive. But I just could not get into the atmosphere. It's cramped. It's loud. And man was it expensive for what we got. I am not opposed to paying for a great dining experience. But El Gaucho should be called El Gougo! Our... More

I always enjoy this place been here many times, but its to get too crowded and crazy waiting for a cab to go back to hotel is at least a half hour! and don't feel it is extremely worth it when there are many other places that opened or are opening, I say if you never have been then definitely... My best friend and I shared a meal as they are large portions... It was very good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very nice. This is a little pricey but the food is fantastic, if you are not a big eater you can easily share a meal and be very satisfied. They do charge a small fee to... More

The steak here is out of this world, but don't get overly excited when they ask you to choose 3-sides to accompany your meat: 3 broccoli spears, 2 fried plantains and a quarter scoop of mashed potatoes leave something to be desired. But then again, you don't come to a great steak house for the sides!

We had dinner here. We each had the filet. Good price and a decent piece of meat. For years I've heard people talk about this restaurant and I was really excited to try. I found the food was ok. Nothing great but not bad. The highlight of the meal were the strolling mariachi band as they came to our table... More

I'll tell you where the beef is and its at this place. Had to do a steak house and choose this one based on some reviews and I was not disappointed. These people know how to cook and season beef. Wife Rib Eye / Me El Gaucho / Son Porter House, we choose different ones so we could compare and... More

I got the Gaucho steak and it was perfect. I am not an expert on steak and rarely eat it. This steak was as described, lean and juicy. It was also a huge, generous portion. The homemade steak sauce and garlic sauce made it. The garlic bread is also yummy. My husband eats steak all the time. He got the... More

A positive dining experience overall. We had a party of 13 so we were seated in the room in the back for large parties. Large parties+large tables= loud conversations × 7+/- tables. The service was good and the food was outstanding!

Yum!!!!! I can taste my steak as I'm writing this. The restaurant was set up as a steakhouse with festive decor. I had a fun time. Ordered steak and appetizers. Food was great--perfect portions. Very friendly atmosphere and cheap cab ride. Pitcher of sangria was more expensive than the steak but well worth it. Awesome staff! Went with family people... More
