Description: Newly located in the Renaissance Marketplace downtown, Cuba's Cookin' has moved with the times just as when Fidel began his march on Havana in 1959. This is what Havana would have looked & felt like.... and when the live music starts up nightly....this is exactly what you would have heard & seen back then. A moment in history brought out in Cuba's food, mojitos, art, culture and dance. A real authentic dinning experience you will take home forever from your trip to Aruba.

We visited this small restaurant after touring. There was only one server but he was nice, efficient and very professional. The food was very good and the lunch prices were great for the center of town. The fish was awesome as we're the plantains.

We noticed this restaurant during a stroll downtown for their nice live music. We returned after a couple of days and - even though there was no music - we stopped for dinner. The mojitos were ok, but a bit too bitter ( did they forget sugar? ) , while all the dishes we had were very tasty. We got... More

My husband and I chose this restaurant from a list provided in the visitors guide arriving at the airport. We enjoy all types of cuisine and looked forward to some good cuban food. Our meal did not dissapoint. My husband had a seafood stew with sweet plantains, yellow rice and black beans. I had pork garlic bites to begin and... More

All three orders for myself and two friends were unsatisfactory. Shrimp plate was over cooked, my grouper ceviche was spongy in texture and the third guest's plate of ribs were unpleasantly sauced.

My husband and I visited Aruba for our 10th anniversary in mid-June. We stayed at the Renaissance, so one night we walked across the street to eat at Cuba's Cookin'. Loved their Long Island Iced Tea! For our appetizer, we had the plantain chips with guacamole. OMG! So good! I can't remember the exact names of our entrees, but I... More

I ordered a hamburger and it was below expectation but it is a Cuban food place. Partner had 3 pork Cuban sandwich and said it was fabulous and couldn't even finish it. Many dishes that people ordered looked really good but they cover everything with too much melted cheese! Great conversation with the waiter tho!

Just stumbled in. Next decor. I had the "lunch special" which was grouper creole. HUGE dinner portion with fried plantains, yellow rice and salad. Totally marvelous. Good mojios. ceviche not so hot. I would go back anytime. Gave free Mojito coupons for next visit. Good waitstaff. Prices good, grouper was only $14. Worth $28

I remember coming to Cuba's Cookin' with my family 4 years ago and we loved it so much that we came back one more time to eat for dinner. At the time, the restaurant was located in a much more quiet and sequestered area of the island, however, it was cool because it made us feel like we were going... More
