Description: Newly located in the Renaissance Marketplace downtown, Cuba's Cookin' has moved with the times just as when Fidel began his march on Havana in 1959. This is what Havana would have looked & felt like.... and when the live music starts up nightly....this is exactly what you would have heard & seen back then. A moment in history brought out in Cuba's food, mojitos, art, culture and dance. A real authentic dinning experience you will take home forever from your trip to Aruba.

I'd have to rate this as one of my best dining experiences. My wife and I walked past this restaurant several times while staying at the Renaissance Aruba Resort and were drawn back by the menu special noted on the sidewalk chalkboard -- red snapper a la Oscar with black beans, rice, plantains and grilled veggies. We were warmly greeted... More

The food is over rated and the prices are extremely high for the quality / quantity. If you have other options, do it. I have tried many Cuban restaurants on Aruba during my stay and this one I will not be doing again.

Very delicious food. Does not need advanced reservation. We were there on Saturday and there were live band with awesome Latin music. Dissent prices, has free Wi-Fi. We got there by bus, for $5 and taxi from Ritz-Carlton would cost around $25 one way. Bus station is 10-15 minutes away. I would go back to this place when I'm next... More

The pork ribs barbecue was out of this world - they must have boiled it and poured ketchup and done! It was disgusting.

Great place to visit, the best dish we ever had in the island after 5 days visiting. Ask for the cazuela de mariscos!

four of us ate there and three of our meals (all the same "special dish" was inedible. we ordered grouper topped with crab cake and shrimp. the crab cake and sauce was good, but the shrimp was rubbery, overdone, and the grouper was inedible. i guess it was a mistake not to immediately send all three dishes back, but we... Very happy to have Cuban food as we really love it. The menus remind me of books from the 50s for some reason. Overall the menu is good and very well priced. They have a twist on the mofongo I'm used to but it was good. If you want good food and like rice, beans, and plantains then give this... More

This little restaurant at the Marketplace in Oranjstad is hot, hot hot. They have traditional Cuban dishes, sandwiches and specials of the day. Great place for lunch and great drinks too. Right among all the shopping in Oranjstad but in the Marketplace by the water. Food is great.

Have been here for lunch and dinner -- great spot in Oranjestad. Only complaint about dinner is that they don't serve their super delicious Cubano sandwiches. Mojitos are outstanding! Also wish they would open earlier for lunch on Sundays. www.cubascookin.com
