Based on the reviews here we tried the Sultan. We love the cuisine and were prepared to like this restaurant, but left unhappy. We had hummus, falafal schwarama, tabouli, and rice. The hummus was quite good but nothing out of the ordinary. The falafal schwarama was more bread, lettuce, tomato than falafal. Tabouli was ok. My daughter did not like... More

I've been living on the island for almost 6 months now and think that Sultan is by far the best arab food, at a great value with great service! I usually work late nights and don't feel like cooking up a meal. Lucky for me, Sultan is less than a 3 minute drive down the street. They don't have a... More

By far the BEST middle eastern restaurant on the island. The food is excellent and not expensive. We usually go there at least 2 times while in Aruba.

You cannot go wrong with a mixed platter at The Sultan, it has something for everyone and will feed at least three people easily. This was our fourth trip to Aruba, and it was a short one, only three days/two nights, but I made absolutely sure that we ate at The Sultan for one of those two nights. It is... More

This is a great place to eat. Reasonably priced and nice portions. The garlic sauce is amazing. We had the mixed platter and the tabouli was great! Nice local without all of the tourist hanging around like the high rises hotels.

If you have a car, this is a nice diversion when you get tired of seafood. Falafel, hummus, babaghanoush were all good

We enjoyed a group meal at The Sultan during our visit last week. The portions were generous and the food was authentic, flavorful and well prepared. There is a combination platter that will please those who love Middle Eastern food as well as even the fussiest eaters (the kids). Prices are very reasonable. This restaurant is a little off the... Delicious food. Authentic environment. If you're looking for a great atmosphere, authentic food and gracious service, it's well worth the drive. This is one of our favorites on the island, and the only true place for authentic and incredibly tasty Arabic food.

A hidden treasure, located close to the airport, away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel beaches, yet easy to find. We dined there with 5 other couples from our B&B (Club Arias) our first night this year. We had the combo platter which featured grilled beef, chicken, and lamb and a couple other accompaniments. Tthe sauces ( a... More
