My friend and I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Gasparito on Saturday, July 19, 2014. The restaurant is also set up as an art gallery and is located in a neighborhood not far from the high rise hotels. I actually felt like I was dining in someone's home. The owner, Dan Barros serves as host and server and his son... More

What a find! Sadly due to being off the main highway near Noord this is true Aruban eating. The owner is the perfect hoste with his son doing the cooking. Great local dishes.Sadly when we went we ate outide and we were the only people eating outside so it lacked atmosphere, but the food made up for it. After our... More

We booked at Gasparito as it's part of the AGA's Dine Around scheme, as we wanted to try some of the local cuisine. Gasparito is a family run restaurant, with the owner waiting on the customers and his son cooking. The restaurant only takes a small number of reservations per evening in the low season (15 covers when we visited).... More

We enjoyed our meal here but it wasn't as good as I remember from the past. The owner is fun and joked with us but he is semi retired and his son is the chef. I think overall everything has slipped here recently.

Our family was treated to a wonderful experience due to both the food, including authentic Aruban cuisine, and the charms of the owner, Raimundo, who served and entertained us with some riddles.

We made an 8 pm reservation at this family-owned restaurant located just off L.G. Smith Boulevard on Gasparito Road. We showed up 5 minutes late and were given a very disapproving look by the host, who, it turned out, was the father of the chef. "I almost forgot you were coming," he said. We were escorted into the enclosed courtyard... More

We read about this restaurant in two tourist guides and decided to go. It was an almost 15 minute stroll from The tourist area in Palm Beach and when The streetlights faded we decided to take a cab, which turned out to be a mear 200 m drive. This place is a hidden gem off The tourist area in Palm... More

Gasparito's was our favorite dining experience in Aruba! After searching for "local" food, we finally had it at this delightfully pleasant restaurant. The family owners were exceptionally gracious and the food was "local" and very tasty! Of all the restaurants we went to in our 8 day visit, this is the one we'd go back to. Casual atmosphere, delicious food,... More

This is our 3rd trip to Gasparito's & we weren't disappointed. Our children ordered a chicken dish & loved it. My husband & I tried a sample of Aruban foods such as Keshi Kena (not sure if I spelled that correctly). Everything was fantastic. Service was equally excellent--the wait staff was also wonderful with our children & provided them with... More

A true Aruban food restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. They only take 20 diners a night. Family run including the cooking. Will go there again next time in Aruba.
