We stumbled into this blue and yellow wooden place expecting a drink, but this place is alive. Service is excellent. The staff are super friendly. If you go in happy hour (4-7) then get ready for some serious fun. Stay later and the place is alive and kicking. Drinks and food are cheap. We had the traditional fish and chips... More

Great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. Nice position for a stop off whilst at Falmouth.

Happened upon this bar at the beginning of the season in November as one of the few 'snack bars' open. Had the place to ourselves. Friendly staff, Good food, good cold beer, reasonable price.

I came here during a special night. It was a few years ago that I was living in Antigua and there was a huge set of yacht parties going on in the harbour. I didn't eat here but I did drink here (open bar at that event) along with many visitors from the yachts. It was such an awesome time... More

Good, wholesome, unpretentious, delicious food, with courteous service. Especially liked the chicken and mushroom pie, also the fish and chips. Pork ribs were also very good. Would have liked to have gone through the entire menu in the 8 days in English Harbour but wanted to also sample other eateries. My fall back restaurant when undecided. Good location.

Takes a while for your food, that will be fried and salted, if that’s what your into. Not bad for bar food, lobster actually wasn't that bad, don't get stir fried vegetables if you don't want them drowned in soy sauce and salty. Pricy and Happy hour is just beer and rum punch not good drinks.

My wife and I had two burgers and two cokes totaling $31.00 USD. The food was good, the service was acceptable, and we loved the giant dry erase board the waitress carried around for a menu. Would recommend the Mad Mongoose for those looking for a laid back meal right in Falmouth Harbour.

We visited Antigua just recently and we booked a table to watch the Super Bowl and to have dinner. Even though the game was not the best, the evening will be well remembered because of the service and the food we received at Mad Mongoose. I ordered a burger that was really delicious and just the right size. My friends... More

We went to happy hour nearly every day of our vacation for the fantastic specials (beer, wine, well drinks and rum punch for approximately US$2 apiece), served by cheerful bartenders to locals, tourists and expats. Our drink of choice was their very tasty dark-and-stormy (made with house-made ginger beer), but the rum punch and local beers were also worth trying.... More

From the outside of the place I didn't expect much, but was really surprised. I had the coconut shrimp, it could have used a touch more sauce but otherwise great. The rice was flavorful and worth every bite. I was wishing more shrimp would appear on my plate! My husband had the West Indian curry. Presented with a flatbread on... More
