Not cheap, but you can buy almost anything you want here. The takeaway food gets good reviews too. Plenty of ATMs on site.

We usually shopped at First Choice which was near our hotel in Dickenson Bay and was fine, but then when we drove to Jolly Harbour we stopped in at the Epicurean Fine foods which is a nice, large grocery store. They had more American and English items than the other. Both are good, but I preferred Epicurean.

I have visited this place on numerous occasions during our stay in Antigua, and I must say the service was very poor, the staff was rude most of the time and lack of communication to customers is the most rudeness i have ever seen. short staff most times and staff if they are there, they are busy having there own... A great shopping fresh bakery although they need more staff, also don't take photos in store security get paranoid and will wait for you to delete picture. Which is stupid, the fear competitors is over whelming if you want rum Cavalier is the rum to have. The Epicurean next to Jolly beach you can use sterling and dollars and you... More

We make our first stop after the airport here to stock up for our few week stay. Some items can be less money at one of the other stores but you wont find the selection of cheeses, crackers, meats and breads etc that are available here. They check your passport with credit card. Clean nice place to shop.

Reminds me of typical North American grocery stores. Good variety (was able to find almond milk) and other grocery and pharmacy needs. It's not in the heart of St. John's so a car or taxi is required.

Large and well stocked supermarket with separate "home" store tucked in behind. Good prices - but security is strict - you are not allowed to carry bags around with you while you shop.

I went to get some groceries and see the market itself. It is very large and has an international feel about it. Some of the pastries are expensive. The hot food is not bad. I would recommend it if you are staying a while in Antigua and need some basic groceries and supplies.

This store is as nice as most grocery stores in the states. Very similar to Publix or Albertson's. They have everything you need. There are smaller ones on the island that are also fine, but this is the big one that has it all. If you need anything from a snorkel to pickled fish, this is your place.
