had lunch and our day Garvey was slammed with customers. He forgot one of our orders but in true Anguillian style he called our residence and bought a bottle of wine to say I am sorry. the beach is great. fun time with all the people. food was good and sit back and drink because the food is cooked on... We loved the location on the best beach in Anguilla. The location was up close and personal. The food was fresh and cooked to order. The only down side was we would have liked a nicer bathroom but it served the purpose for beach shack

Yes, like other reviewers, the food is very good here but expect to wait one hour + to eat. What in the world was taking so long? The ribs were already on the grille when we arrived and the staff seemed like the wait was their M.O. Oh well. Once we DID finally receive our food, it was excellent and... More

We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at the sunshine shack. We wanted "island food" and we're totally satisfied with our snapper and vegetarian plate that Garvey made. We arrived right around noon and we're the first customers. Garvey wasn't ready yet so we. Had drinks. The BBC cocktail is delicious. Only problem was that it took so long for... More

We've been visiting Anguilla since 2009 and decided to try this place out based on the reviews. I'll start by pointing out that I'm very familiar with "island time". In fact, it one of the things we love about visiting Anguilla but waiting over two hours for a dry piece of snapper goes well beyond the boundaries of my patience.... More

Very cool beach bar vibe with live reggae music and beach bonfire to dance around. The best place to chill out in the evening.

This little place is in such a lovely spot it is great that the food lives up to the location! We had a few lunches here during our recent holiday and everything was well cooked and nicely presented. The snapper is excellent and we love the sides of coleslaw, rice, plantain and a little salad - simple and fresh. Garvey... More

I have eaten here twice now on two separate visits. Fish is fresh and tasty. Service is very nice and friendly. You sit on the beach and water the water and listen to Garvey's loud reggae tunes. It's very nice.

We ventured out to the left of CuisinArt and came across this lovely little place not far down. Don't let the size and decor fool you. This was by far a better meal than what our hotel (CuisinArt) served up all week. We met the owner/chef Garvey, who besides being a gentlemen is also a master behind the grill. We... More
