Roy's is great. Food and drink prices are reasonable. Friday afternoon "happy hour" is a must do. From 5-7 pm the specials for dinner are only $15 which is pretty good for Anguilla. If you have kids they can run around on the beach within your site after they get bored with dinner.

Delicious fresh fish. Creole snapper is very good. Also, portions are huge. And prices reasonable. They also give you johnny cakes before your meal (deep fried dough). My kids liked them.

Roy's had great food and dined right near the beach. This location is near a salt pond so the mosquitoes were noticeable. The owners had mosquito repellant a burning so caution with kids along the base of some railings. The owner did give us some bug spread to use. The fresh seafood combo with slight heat in sauce was wonderful.... More

We were having dinner at a friend's house when they asked us if we had eaten at Roy's. We hadn't and after visiting the island a dozen times, and hearing locals rave, we had to go. I was told to get the lobster soup. Best lobster soup I've ever had, and this is a New Englander talking. I was also... More

Had dinner here last night. Arrived around 6:30 to an almost empty restaurant, two other couples were dining. Seated beachfront and Tatiana came over with menus and promptly asked if we would like a drink and let us know they had no Mahi Mahi, only Snapper as the special. I ordered the beef kabob and hubby had the fish and... More

We have been to Anguilla for the last 10 years and found Roy's on Crocus Bay where we ate Flying Fish sandwiches Roy flew in from Barbados in his plane. We returned on Friday night for Fish and Chips during Happy Hour. Authentic British fare. We now enjoy Roy's fare at his new location at Sandy Ground in Road Bay..... More

Wonderful restaurant on the bay at Sandy Ground. Good food - especially the Lobster Bisque - and great service. All tables are outdoors and on the beach right next to the Road Bay Port. This is a great spot for casual dining and cold beer. The food is good. Tight parking inside the gate and plenty of parking outside the... More

I have to say that I don't like doing bad reviews but this one warrants it. Breakfast in Anguilla isn't all that great to begin with but this was brutal. It was expensive and bland. My husband ordered the Corned Beef hash and eggs with a side of johnny cakes. The hash and the eggs were ok but the johnny... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends of ours. We enjoyed the fish and chips as we watched the sunset. The service was excellent with very friendly and accommodating staff. Our 5 year old with us loved his chicken fingers and fries! We would recommend Roy's to anyone travelling in Anguilla that want a friendly restaurant that is affordable.... More

We have been eating regularly at Roy's on Anguilla since it was a bar on Crocus Bay with two tables and the menu was limited to burgers, sautéed snapper, fish-and-chips and lobster. He and Mandy, longtime hostess Joan, and now joined by their daughter, Clair, and her husband, Patrick, provide good food and good service at reasonable (for Anguilla) prices.... More
