Nice owners - very cold beer!

We had an opportunity to visit with the owner (Roy's daughter) and she is a wonderful person. The place sits directly on the beach and has a great environment. Roy is still involved with day-to-day operations so make sure you give some business to these local folks.

We were out cruisin' the back roads (haha, they are all back roads!) and came upon Roy's Bayside Grill at lunch time. It was the end of April so not busy at all, had a good lunch for reasonable price in a colorful joint. Good service, nice intro to Sandy Ground.

We got the fish and chips to go. The fish, although fresh snapper, was not crispy and lacked any seasoning. The french fries were soggy and greasy, certainly not what you would expect. The Havana Club on the rocks was excellent. I've just about given up on finding a decent place to get local fish at a beach bar in... More

Our first meal on this year's trip to Anguilla was at Happy Hour on Friday night. Their fish and chips continues to be a great value at $15. Since they now serve breakfast each day, we spent several mornings there after a beach walk. My wife had the bacon and eggs-with real English bacon. I had the ham, egg and... More

Cool family-run beachside restaurant and bar. Of all the restaurants we visited, Roy's had the largest (very generous) portions. The food was fantastic. Attentive, friendly staff. Great any time of the day or night.

We found Roy's by chance while driving around on our first night on the island. We were so impressed by the ambiance and cuisine that we came back a second time a few days later to try the rest of the dishes on the menu! The lobster pasta was excellent and the dishes they are famous for (lobster bisque +... More

We liked this place and came a couple times for lunch. They have a special on the menu everyday. The sandwiches, burgers and French fries are really good. My husband had the fish one day and loved it. The little waitress was excellent and the drinks were delicious.

I had not been to Roy's in a while and it was like going home. The first night we dined there Mandy, Roy's wife and Joan, who has been with them since forever, were working and on our next visit Roy himself was at the grill. They still make the best fish & chips and the snapper special we had... More
