This little place is in such a lovely spot it is great that the food lives up to the location! We had a few lunches here during our recent holiday and everything was well cooked and nicely presented. The snapper is excellent and we love the sides of coleslaw, rice, plantain and a little salad - simple and fresh. Garvey... More

I have eaten here twice now on two separate visits. Fish is fresh and tasty. Service is very nice and friendly. You sit on the beach and water the water and listen to Garvey's loud reggae tunes. It's very nice.

We ventured out to the left of CuisinArt and came across this lovely little place not far down. Don't let the size and decor fool you. This was by far a better meal than what our hotel (CuisinArt) served up all week. We met the owner/chef Garvey, who besides being a gentlemen is also a master behind the grill. We... More

The Sun Shine Shack is on the beach between CuisinArt and Anguilla Great House. Park across the street from the Angulla Great House and walk through the driveway and then to the right. Garvey, the owner and chef, greeted us as we walked up. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and our food was delivered quickly. We had the... More

I can't really add much to what has already been written about the place, the food, and the owner. If you like the beach, Reggae, drinks and food - i can't really think of a better place on earth to be! Enjoy! Someone in Brazil will be jealous of you.

We ate 2 lunches and 1 dinner. It was the best snapper and ribs. But Takes really long time, you should be willing to wait 1 hour. Maybe that's the secret.

Garvey gave us a great barbecue. We both had a huge presentation of great ribs. The informal setting is very relaxed and drinks are great. The view on Rendezvous Bay is spectacular. Go for a quick dip after lunch!

This place is a classic. The manager comes up to you with his dreadlocks, the reggae is blasting, you see St Marteen mountains across the water, the sand is soft and the beach is the nicest on Anguilla. We had the chicken and fish. Both amazing. The rice with plantains and beans were good, the carrot cole slaw very good... More

This is "one of those places" you'll always talk about - where the perfect combination of setting (right on the beach), food (fantastic), and funkiness (it IS a shack) combine for a glorious experience. Pina Coladas are extraordinary. As other reviewers have noted, Garvey the Proprietor is part of the charm. Do note that it's not accessible from the road.... More
