We had a dinner here. The place has a nice atmosphere but the food is just average. However, the prices are quite high.

I have been to Anguilla many times and I love the island. I understand it's expensive to be there for a week and I don't mind paying for good food. The food was average. My bill for my family of four was 225.00. For tapas I think that's crazy. The prices were not that high in the past. We enjoyed... More

Our first visit to Anguilla last week was amazing and included trying out quite a few restaurants for lunch and supper. Sandbar was our favorite spot. The tapas menu is delicious and priced very fairly. The location right on the beach is great too. Service was friendly and attentive. Staff seemed genuine and proud of where they work. We came... Under new ownership, really nice improvements have been made to the menu, and the restaurant. As if it wasn't already a cool place to dine, the new owners have brought a very cool California vibe to Anguilla. Small plates allow you to try a variety of totally dynamite dishes. Tables are nearly on the beach, with a super view.

We felt like a light meal and hear they have a great tapas menu. The setting was perfect at night - on the beach. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the Zucchini Carpaccio ($9) which was a zucchini salad sautéed with cheese and toasted almonds (would love that recipe), the Spicy Edamame (&7), and the Tuna Poki with Crispy Wontons... Cocktails were perfect and the desserts made me wish I had room to eat more. The staff is friendly and the owners very hospitable. Can't wait to go back... More

SandBar has amazing, super yummy drinks (jalapeno mojito!), but it is way more than a beach bar. It is a gem of a restaurant with the most delicious tapas plates. I think we tried just about everything on the menu and each was soooo good. I especially loved the zucchini dish, fish bites, and their french fries (yes, french fries!).... More

We wanted to dine at SandBar since the last time we visited beautiful Anguilla in 2011 and now we wish we had done so before. SandBar did not disappoint. Great food prepared with care and attention to detail, charming atmosphere located right on the beach (great spot to watch the sunset), attentive service and reasonable prices. We oredered four tapas... More

Simply stated, SandBar is interesting, high end food that's extremely well done at some of the lowest prices on the island. We ordered several tapas - zucchini, tuna wontons, fries, pork sliders, beef, and mahi mahi bites. All were delicious and fresh and not a bite of anything was left! Service was the most prompt we've experienced so far in... More

Great food n service. Tapas were really good. Wings, tuna, ribs were all good. We tried 7 expensive restaurants and this one was the best. Only place I want to go back.
