Terry nailed it in his review...Jacala is a great French dining experience. After starting the meal with a taste of asparagus gazpacho we had the grilled crayfish and shared a salad with lobster, exotic fruits, and vanilla dressing. We finished our meal with creme brûlée and espresso. I don't have the words to tell you just how wonderful it all... More

Francophiles: Gluttonous: Decadence @ Jacala, Anguilla. Francophiles seated everywhere from near and far. Yesterday, Jacala was serving Alain's famous crayfish and avocado salad. It is famous because it is magically delicious as nothing compares to expertly prepared fresh Caribbean Spotted Lobster caught nearby in the gigantic Prickly-Pear reef. This team of closely associated gastronomic experts deliver fine dining to the... More

we had dinner tonight. dinner was great., but service has a bit more to stretch for. we loved the place, food was excellent, owner great, but not very attentive staff. wine glass often empty. All in all good, but no sigar..

My husband and I decided to have lunch at Jacala one day on a whim. The owner greeted us, chatted with us briefly, and was very personable. I had the chilled cucumber soup with tomato sorbet…delicious. My husband had the conch chowder which he thoroughly enjoyed. For my entrée, I had lobster risotto (special that day) which was amazing! My... More

Ate here in June 2013, we decided to leave Cap Jaluca Resort and head out somewhere else for dinner (not that Cap Jaluca lacked anything it didn't just decided to go "off base" for a night) , the restaurant is super nice and classy. The owner (a tall slender Frenchman ,I believe, with glasses) greeted us and sat us at... More

The setting is very romantic with a wonderful view of the ocean. The food was great, and the service was pretty good. Overall this was probably the best dinner we had in Anguilla. It's worth mentioning that it was hard to get a dinner reservation even in the "off season" since they don't have many tables, so book early.

The food was prepared just right, the red snapper, calamari , the filet of beef however, the chef did not want to cook my filet med well. Instead ,he cooked it on the rear side. I had to eat around it and leave the middle. Other than that, we all had a great meal!

It is a few years since i have had lunch at Jacala as, for some reason, we always thought of it as more of a dinner restaurant. I took a good friend with me and everything was excellent. We started with perfectly made mojitos whilst our bottle of rose chilled. I opted for the watermelon and goats cheese salad with... More

Spending the day on Meads Bay, we decided on lunch at Jacala with friends. From the soups, to the appetizers, and lunch, each dish was better then the next. This was a nearly perfect ten meal. Definitely a pricey experience, but worth it. One negative, was the incorrect tab which would have set us back an extra $70 if we... More

I like that it's very small and intimate. You can have steak or seafood and a beautiful sunset. Great friendly staff. not pricey at all.
