Just got back from Anguilla and my wife and I loved this place. We went with another couple and loved out food. For starters, we had the Vegetable Spring Rolls and the Mussels. Both were spectacular, especially the dipping sauces for the rolls. For entrees, we had Mel's Cioppino (seafood stew) and the Braised Lamb Shanks. Both of these were... more

Our first trip to Blanchard's, definitely won't be our last. Wonderful romantic beachfront location. We timed the dinner to be there for sunset. They have a gorgeous setting on the beach. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. We shared an appetizer of mussels in a Thai coconut sauce. The sauce was so yummy I commented to the... more

Like many others here, I read the Blanchard's book, "A Trip to the Beach" about 5 years ago. It inspired my first trip to Anguilla back in 2004 but I didn' t make it to the restaurant. This year I went back to the island and made it to Blanchard's. The restaurant itself is small and charming with a very... more

2009 marked our 28th trip to Anguilla over the past 25 years. We remember Blanchard's when it was a few tables on a porch deep on the West End of the Island. We have been fortunate enough to have travelled many places in this beautiful world...Anguilla remains our favorite vacation spot and Blanchard's our favorite restaurant. That is what made... more

From all travel guides, Blanchard's was must go restaurant. Maybe our expectation was too high, the food and service was not the best we had on the Island. The restaurant itself was lovely, staff was friendly. However, maybe it was too crowded that night, the service was a bit lacking, we had to reach out to pour wine and water... more

When we first arrived in Anguilla I wanted to make sure we ate at Blanchards while there. We ended up going in the off-season so there weren't that many other couples dining that night, maybe 6 total, but I'd have to say this was the busiest restaurant we ate at on our week long stay. The food was delicious, the... more

I had read the Blanchards book "A Trip to the Beach" years a go while vacationing in St Martin and it made me want to visit Anguilla and their restaurant. (I do recommend the book). I strongly advise reservations well in advance, you can do so at their website, Blanchards was the busiest restaurant we dined at. The dining room... more

Having exhausted the menu at our hotel restaurant we decided to try one of the local restaurants in Anguilla. Most hotels have a very well informed concierge book that you can refer to for dining options and the standard in Anguilla is very high and most take a great deal of pride in both their menus and appearance. Blanchards is... more
