It offers quality throughout! Wonderful food and service. You get an incredible tasting experience as the owner is concerned that all the food to be excellent quality and from the surrounding area. He has 15 own chickens for their own eggs, tomatoes of another world, etc.., And of course a first-class chef! Must be experienced 👍

After eating the other night in the touristic restaurants down at the beach we tried this one and it was a great surprise, They have a different menu every day, so few dishes but very fresh. They have a 25 Euro deal for first, second course with dessert, we ordered one menu meal and one more pasta dish. Food was... More

We stayed a week at Casale Villarena and ate here every night except Tuesday (when they are closed), as well as quite a few lunches - there was simply no reason to go anyway else. We let Giuglielmo guide us most nights based on his personal recommendation, so meals became a surprise but always a pleasant one! Big plates of... More

We had a meal here on our last night staying nearby in Nerano. The food was fantastic and the host was so lovely and friendly. We opted for the set menu and just waited to see what they would bring out! We had tasty little pastry slices to start followed by tomato and olive spaghetti. A plate full of BBQ... More

Stayed one week at Casale Villarena - did not search for other restaurants as it was no need for doing that. Ristorante Casale Villarena serves excellent Italian food made from local produce combined with hospitality and a special atmosphere makes the experience unique.

First of all, we stayed at Casale Villarena. Amazing. The food is outstanding.my fussy 8 year old lives on chicken goujons... chips... etc. he happily tucked into Pasta Zuccini as a starter followed by lemon veal. we were fighting for our share of the pasta starter. we have since enjoyed many local dishes, including home made pizza which I had... This is a great place situated in the picturesque hilltop town of Nerano. Set in a terraced lemon grove overlooking the Med makes for a calm and relaxing ambiance. We dined here twice during our week in and around Nerano. The guys who run the place are amazingly hospitable and we admire their creativity in providing a diversity of dining... More
