This down home local seafood place is Ok. Service was unattentive and average, and the food not much better, especially for the price.

Stopping in Boothbay Harbor to ask a local for a recommendation about seafood restaurants in the area, one he gave me was Robinson's Wharf. I drove about eight minutes on a winding road with nice views and arrived just after 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon. The weather had been cool for days leading up to this, and although a little... More

My family had an early dinner at Robinson's Wharf on our way to the Newagen Seaside Inn. The food was delicious. We tried the chowder at every restaurant where we ate that week, and Robinson's fish chowder was the best we had between Boston and Bar Harbor. A classic Maine lobster pound type of place.

My family has been vacationing in Boothbay area for over 50 years visiting Robinson for a consistent simple evening meals. Our recent September dinner visit found new multiple culinary offerings and each new choice was poor. If Robinson's is your dinner choice stay with basic broiled lobster with sides.

I was told about this place by someone at the Boothbay Railway Village. Finally got out here to try it out. Definitely a locals' joint in November! We were probably the only people in there who lived more than 5 miles away. The twin lobsters were great. Among us, we had 4 different entrees. The Southport fondue was interesting. Would... More

Five minutes from boothbay harbor the atmosphere was great the food was great. Our waitress was not too attentive and the tip we left reflected her service. Other wait staff seemed to be on top of things. I would eat there again

I didn't eat here but I bought several live lobsters/steamers to steam at the place I was staying. The restaurant/retail store is located just after crossing the swing bridge to Southport. The restaurant is always a busy place and the seafood is fresh from the boat and the value is good. If anyone wants to cook their own live lobsters... More

Good food, good service. Watched our waiter go from empty house to full-on hammered in about 5 minutes. He was a PRO.
