The locals in Boothbay Harbor told us to go over here for the best lunch. We are glad we took their advice. The restaurant is located right on the water, and the fishing boots pull right up and deliver fresh fish to the attached fish market. We sat out on the upper deck, which has a nice view of the... Oh we would love a cup of their lobster stew for tonights dinner! It was wonderful as was the stuffed haddock (scrimp, crab, lobster, and scallops). The view was all water and the ice cream was yummy too! Thanks Robinson's!

We thought Robinson's Wharf was only okay. Tired decor, average food. Nice location near the swing bridge though. I think Oliver's in much better and just a short drive further.

They were out of what we wanted--no Maine shrimp-- so we ordered a chicken dish and scallops. The chicken marsala was not good--mushy chicken coating and too salty. Everything was too salty. So disappointed because this was a place we had really enjoyed on previous trips...service was slow too--maybe we just hit it on a bad night.

This place was our first meal in Maine. Just what we were looking for. Beautiful view. Bountiful deck. Local flavor. The staff were terrific. Super friendly. We got a tip that this was a place the locals enjoy. Certainly seemed to fit that bill. We were were there for an early dinner… had time to wander around and check the... More

I wanted to like it here, but only liked about half the experience. Apparently people like it, because after we arrived, parking became a nightmare, and people were waiting for cars to pull out to get a spot. Our waitress was sweet, the wine was good, and my salad had a nice mix of greens, not the usual wimpy head... More

When my wife and I plus daughter's family were returning the Boothbay Harbor this year we looked forward to returning for the third year to Robinson's for a great lobster and fish dinner. We were not disappointed. It is one of our favorite spots.

I second the review below about the clams. Clams were tough and the batter mushy. My wife had steamers which were ok.

Best thing about Robinson's is it's location on the wharf. Food takes a long time to be served and is just average. Order of clams were sent back because they were cold. My fish was way over-done. Waiters were very nice.

We love this place. Great little cove with a dock, you can eat outside on a picnic table, on the deck, or inside. All come with waiter service. Can't beat the lobster that is as fresh as can be, there are lobster boats parked right there and a fish store. Steamers are fresh and no sand! Can't wait until our... More
