My family has been vacationing in Boothbay area for over 50 years visiting Robinson for a consistent simple evening meals. Our recent September dinner visit found new multiple culinary offerings and each new choice was poor. If Robinson's is your dinner choice stay with basic broiled lobster with sides.

I was told about this place by someone at the Boothbay Railway Village. Finally got out here to try it out. Definitely a locals' joint in November! We were probably the only people in there who lived more than 5 miles away. The twin lobsters were great. Among us, we had 4 different entrees. The Southport fondue was interesting. Would... More

Five minutes from boothbay harbor the atmosphere was great the food was great. Our waitress was not too attentive and the tip we left reflected her service. Other wait staff seemed to be on top of things. I would eat there again

I didn't eat here but I bought several live lobsters/steamers to steam at the place I was staying. The restaurant/retail store is located just after crossing the swing bridge to Southport. The restaurant is always a busy place and the seafood is fresh from the boat and the value is good. If anyone wants to cook their own live lobsters... More

Good food, good service. Watched our waiter go from empty house to full-on hammered in about 5 minutes. He was a PRO.

We stopped here on our way down to Newagen and had a delicious lunch of seafood fondue (proof that cheese and seafood DO mix), clam chowder and a lobster roll. All of it was delicious. The view was enough to get my cold-weather-phobic wife to sit outside in October, too!

Great service in a laid back atmosphere. Best lobster I ever had. The deck would be a lot of fun in the summer.

Walked in on them right before closing. Sat in bar area, they were very gracious. We arrived late and were hungry. Had a haddock sandwich - great! Very light breading and a lot of fish. Taste was really good. Other people at table had a salad and it looked like it had been freshly picked. Looked and taste fantastic. Cook... More
