The Venus cafe has a great location on the beach at Blackpool Sands, which is one of the prettiest beaches in England. For a beach cafe it is a bit expensive, particularly if you have already paid a rather high car parking charge. For a restaurant, the food is a bit too basic. But you can forgive them a lot... More

First class café with quality food menu. Seating indoor and outdoor. Its lovely and clean as is the great Blackpool Sands beach. Spirits available as well although a little expensive.

We regularly visit this restaurant. And have come at all times of the year for breakfast lunch and supper. Could not recommend it more highly. Full English breakfast sitting on the deck behind glass looking at the sea, could not be more perfect. Evening supper, consisting of lobster or steak, whilst toasty and warm inside again looking at the sea,... More

The views here are exceptional and the food is good but far too overpriced. This place could be so mush more...but if i be honest i would re visit just for the views!!!

Had lunch here a couple of times while on holiday in the area, the food is really good, a change form your usual beach fare. Perhaps a little expensive for some of the dishes but worth a trip .

This little cafe is right on the beach of Blackpool Sands, open all day and in the evening, we didn't think we ended to book but I went in to make sure and was told they were fully booked the entire week! However the lady serving me was lovely and said she would be able to squeeze us in within... More

I was extremely angry and quite surprised when I was unable to buy a vegetarian salad?!?! obviously leaving the meat off was far to taxing for the highly skilled kitchen staff. The food is extremely poor and overpriced….when you spend nearly £3 on a 'Sicilian Lemon Luscombe' you expect the whole bottle rather than a plastic cup. This has definitely... More

We decided to take another trip to what we thought was still a wonderful venus cafe for a full english breakfast. The inside seating area was quite packed & there was many screaming children, so we decided to sit outside along the glass front being as the view of the beach is wonderful. I'm afraid after that it wen't downhill.... More

We had been advised to give this eatery a try and so glad we did. It might be called a cafe but the quality of food and service was equal to many restaurants less deserving of the title. The location was superb as was the food (we had the hake). The service could not be bettered and it did not end... More
