Great restaurant at reasonable prices. staff really good and if something is sold out there is always an alternative word of caution watch for the cat! NB. It is quite normal in the Cooks for restaurants to have a cat or dog in the restaurant so don't get upset just go with flow.

We stayed at Palm Grove, so this was our local! The cocktails are great and they are certainly not skimping on the alcohol content - never saw a bar measure used!! We had a couple of meals here including the BBQ night and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Not the most expensive on the island, but certainly value for money. Staff... More

Our 4th time (over 4 years) at the Sunday night BBQ & the standard is still amazing. Everything tasted amazing & the choice is unbelievable. To the cooks & the staff - keep up the great work - you are stars!!!

We stayed at Palm Grove and Christmas . The food at the Yellow Hibiscus was excellent value and yummy. You have to do the Friday night happy hour if you are staying at the property . Great live music and the happy hour is very happy !

We came here for lunch but after seeing the menu (all fried options) we decided to go elsewhere and come back for dinner instead. The dinner menu is much more extensive and has fresh food options that were a lot more appealing. I had the rib eye steak and my husband had the kumara, fish and chorizo stack. Both meals... More

This little restaurant definitely has improved its cuisine and is worthy of a visit. We stopped in for dinner a couple of weeks ago. we were treated very well, the service was friendly and welcoming. I had the Kumara Stack - fresh and packed full of flavour, this was one of the best meals I had in the 3 weeks... More

Always delicious and more than enough. My husband and I often shared one entre. It was so nice to just walk across from where we were staying at Palm Grove to the Yellow Hibiscus. They have great live music on Friday evenings with free wine, beer or sodas for a couple of hours.

I visited The Hibiscus on one of my last nights in Rarotonga and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was pleasant on a Friday evening with a performance from a local singer. Although it would have been nice to see more vegetarian dishes on the menu, the one veggie pasta dish was very good, and could be added to by ordering... More

This restaurant is really disorganised! No one greater us when we arrived even though we had a reservation. Told to sit anywhere. Tables still had plates on them. We waited 1/2 an hour for our cocktails, then the entrees arrived which were very good, bruschetta and Thai prawns but the main, fish curry was just horrible! Just a slab of... More
