WOW you just gotta go.

We arrived not having booked and were welcomed very warmly. Seating is not crowded and very comfortable. Wine and beer choice is good. The menu is outstanding. Local produce, which was superbly cooked and presented. The waiting staff were attentive without being pushy at all. I have been to plenty... read more

I booked dinner on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. We had a sharing seafood platter for starters which included squid however the star of the show was the potted crab which has to be the most tastiest crab dish I have ever enjoyed. This was followed by fillets of place which were cooked to perfection.... More

Visited this restaurant recently when visiting my son who lives just a few minutes drive away. It's tucked away in the small village of Strete so you are hardly going to just walk past it. I cannot find fault atall. Menu is varied with a great selection of quality fish. Staff and levels of service also excellent and although the... More

Never disappoints - great service and food fantastic! A gem of a restaurant, tastefully decorated and a lovely log burning stove for cosy winter evenings. A varied menu to suit all tastes. It's always a must to visit this restaurant!

Tucked away in the village of Strete you will find this gem of a restaurant. We booked based upon the Trip Advisor rating, but where reassured when the taxi driver also stated it was the best in the district. Both tips where spot on! Great ambiance with a good vibe but all tables have plenty of there own space. The... More

It was a quiet night at the restaurant, only 2 other tables were occupied so only 3 couples dining. The room is beautifully lit, you can see what you are eating yet its soft and relaxing. Tables are set well apart from each other so you are not distracted by others' conversations. The waitress was attentive and helpful but not... More

I liked the Restaurant layout as the tables were well spaced and the L Shaped room had an airy feel about it. There were pictures on the walls for sale from local artists. We chose a main course each: Plaice and king prawns, Mixed seafood platter with chips. May sound a bit odd, but the chips 'were to die for'.... More

Went for a meal during half term, October 2015. The restaurant has a great feel to it and is well presented. Me and the Mrs (AKA Princess) went with our 15 year old son. I had the fresh calamari starter and the lamb wellington followed by Bakewell Tart with home made vanilla ice cream, Couldn't fault a thing. All top... More
