My family went to Sakala to celebrate my parents-in-law's 50th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect place for the celebration. The lamb was amazing and all of the desserts were incredible. Thank-you Sakala!

We dined here for there lunch Tapas menu. Lots of dishes but all mainly seafood. We had the kids and ordered the kids meals but they were very small and only one chicken nugget per serve but overrated in the price. Wouldn't eat here again, especially with children as it was obvious they weren't overly welcome. Drinks higher than prices... More

When it comes to French dining you expect the presentation to be great and this was no exception. The staff were very attentive however very the restaurant was quiet and we were only 1 of 4 tables. It was also disappointing that one of the tables the patrons were wearing singlets and boardies! The staff should not have allowed this... More

My Sakala experience .... I sat outside Friday night and although it was windy I enjoyed a sangria while the sunset. ( no by the glass Champagne or decent wine.... the woes of a solo traveler! I contemplated on the strange surroundings and came to the conclusion that there must have been a number of architects that came and went... More

Has anybody been to Sakala for tapas? If not, you must go! The beautifully presented tapas were mouth watering. We chose five and found it was adequate for a light lunch. Together with a mocktail - a divine Bali Passion, we came away feeling we must return.

Our compliments to the Québécois chef and the dining staff, particularly Putra for a memorable dining experience - our three courses - foie gras, tortellini then lamb and duck foie gras and dessert were really tasty. Breezy night in Bali, but could not resist taking choosing to take in the beautiful beach view. Enjoy!

After visiting this restaurant I'm convinced the tripadvisor reviews are loaded with fake positive reviews from the business owners. While Sekala has the top notch design and the good staff you would expect from an expensive restaurant, the food was poor. 4 dishes all looked great but tasted less than 2nd rate. Added to that, this meal for 2 cost... More

If you enjoy fine dining in scenic sophisticated surroundings, then this restaurant should be top of your list of restaurants to visit while in Bali. We dined at Sakala last night for dinner after having tapas for lunch the day before, and are so glad we did. From the warm, friendly greeting to the knowledgeable and attentive staff, especially from... More

We were staying across the road at the Ramada where the food was nothing special, so decided to try Sakala based on TA reviews. It deserves all the glowing accolades. Food and wine all excellent and service attentive and professional. It's not cheap but then again good food and wine of this quality rarely is.

We had a lunch tapas voucher from our hotel as part of a holiday stay. Amazing restaurant, food and service! Nothing is too much trouble and very family friendly :)
