We were recommended this restaurant by people in Bali. Actually when we have asked about good traditional restaurants this has been the first place that is always suggested. The restaurant was recommended to us by our guide and we were very happy with it. The set menus were delicious. The staff was very welcoming and polite. We visited the restaurant a few times during our stay and we were always happy with the food. You can book to try the suckling pig on Thursday and Saturday. It is very... More

Bumbu Bali is a must when in Nusa Dua. We were recommended to try it by friends and it certainly didn't disappoint. With a booking they picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back at the end of a very enjoyable dining experience. We ordered a tasting platter which was full of delicious flavours. Every single member of... More

10 day trip to Bali in May. We sampled a few of the local restaurants around and found Bumbu Bali the best. Excellent spread of Bali cuisine. Ended up returning several nights later because it was that good. Great value for money.

2 sets of nasi campur shared among 5 adults. Fairly large portion authentic Balinese food. Taste great! Nice environment with relaxing tune. Located strategically (about 200m) across the Grand Mirage Resort.

Come to Bumbu Bali for a very cozy casual Balinese setting and good authentic cuisine. The open kitchen and friendly welcoming staff put you at ease from the moment you arrive. The prices are higher than average for the Nusa Dua/Benoa area but the food is good and the portion size is more generous. Come for dinner on a day... More

If you want to try authentic Balinese food, go to Bumbu Bali. But, make reservations because this restaurant's reputation precedes itself. It has 2 branches in the Nusa Dua / Benoa area and they still get full. Many hotels will gladly make reservations for you. Bumbu Bali itself has a pick-up service to and from the nearby hotels. Upon entering... More

We dined there on the last day of our holiday and I must say its pitty we did not find it earlier. They serve local balinese cuisine and do it really good. You can watch your meals being prepared as the kitchen are open planed and visible from every corner of restaurant. The presentation of dishes is also top spot!... More

Little to add to the other excellent-ratings. The rijsttafel and the bebek betutu were delicious. Great atmosphere, with the open kitchen and nice decorations. Very attentative staff, who made a nice little chat with us and remembered things we said on our previous visit. Much money, much value.

Balinese food is not as varied as say Thai or Vietnamese. But there's some great local foods to try and Bumbu do a great job. Fresh and well balanced meals. friendly Balinese service albeit a bit pricey in local terms.
