We had a great time at Bumbu, the atmosphere is amazing, all the staff are so friendly. Food is absolutely yummy, big portions, and the whisky cocktails are great!

We discovered Bumbu Bali quite by accident and then checked out the comprehensive website. Luckily we were able to get along on a Wednesday night when they have Balinese dancing after there was a late cancellation. The three of us shared the Balinese Rijstaffel fixed menu (for two) and also ordered a duck dish. This was far too much for... More

I had been reading reviews and had worked myself into a frenzy! Unfortunately I found the food somewhat average. Bumbu has the normal Balinese dishes which you could get on the street or in hotels and I didn't feel like it tasted anything better. However the prices were certainly above average. I did like that they send a driver to... More

Atmosphere good, original bali taste. Food ok nothing spectacular for me, perhaps Malaysia food and Indonesia food are quite similar.

This restaurant is a ''must'' when in Bali. Wonderful foo and staff. Food is served in a traditional style and is delicious. Booking is a must. We hadn't booked and staff even found us a table for a quick meal. Next time we will book.

Definitely one of the most memorable meals I have had in Bali. Authentic cuisine with meticulous presentation and not overpriced like a lot of the Seminyak restaurants. Lovely ambience also. Will definitely revisit and recommend.

Food was really good and they find Aussie redwine bottle to offer as well. Food was beautifully assembled in tray and taste was really good. Alcohol tax in Indonesia is very high and price for wine is also high. But when you are in vacation so you can treat your wife with delicious offerings at least once. Funny that I... More

It starts with a very warm welcome when you step through thevfront door as the kitchen sings out: "Good evening. Selamat Malam!" From there we found the experience got even better: amazing food and fantastic service. We loved our evening and would go back anytime.
