This place was recommended to us by the Pearl Resort coordinator. It was a wonderful place to stop on our trip around the island. The Island is small so be sure to watch for the signs as we nearly passed the lovely restaurant. I had the mahi mahi with curry sauce. It was the perfect size and was well as... More

Stayed at Intercontinental Hotel(an excellent place to hang out)and a guest suggested we try the Mayflower. Unlike other nearby restaurants which offer complementary shuttle service the Mayflower had a taxi service for $1000 francs (return pp). We arrived at a very nicely appointed restaurant (compared to other Moorea restaurants) and greeted by a very friendly manager. Menu is somewhat European... More

This restaurant is not the fanciest place but the food is amazing!! It is absolutely worth going and it is reasonably priced. The food is delicious and top quality. I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the tuna. Both dishes were phenomenal. My only regret is not finding this restaurant sooner during our stay on Moorea. We still... More

We rented a car for the day and were out exploring the island an ran across this place. Lunch time is very quiet - or at least on the day we went, so we were the only ones there at first which can make you skeptical, but so pleased we stayed. We had shrimp dumplings for an appetizer and tuna... More

This was one of the best restaurants we have EVER eaten at. It was excellent. Food was fantastic, so good, we went back a second time. The shrimp dumplings were out of the world and the duck was superb. Get the profiteroles for dessert, you won't be sorry.

This should be on your list of places to eat if you want a really lovely, classic meal. The ride to get to the restaurant takes awhile, but it's worth it.

Not much to add to the other rave reviews here. Especially if you're staying on this side of the island, there's no excuse to skip this restaurant -- even if your cranky concierge at the Intercontinental rolls her eyes at you. Not sure what the complaints are about slow service. The place was packed when we went and there was... More

Our dinner at the Mayflower was a quite good. We read somewhere that lobster ravioli was their specialty so we shared that and the vegetable ravioli with goat cheese sauce. Both dishes had amazing sauces that we used the last of our bread to soak up. I know, not the best manners, but we couldn't let any of the amazing... More
