Don't forget the dumplings

About the prices, we didn't think they were as unreasonable as some of the other reviewers thought. Yes, it's an upper-end restaurant, but we thought the food was worth it. The shrimp dumplings were amazing – they are not your traditional dumplings, so if you are a dim sum lover, expect something... read more

Nice French styled meal served by friendly waiting staff in a open plan style restaurant right next to the road. Only real downside is where other restaurants pick you up from your hotel for free this one charges 500 francs.

One of our favorite. Great service and food. Very attentive staff and smiles to go along with it. Thank you for our excellent dinner!

We dined here on our first evening in Moorea. They picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off for a fee, unlike other restaurants that pick up for free. We ordered Mahi Mahi with curry sauce and lobster ravioli. The food was tasty and the creme brûlée delicious. However, we had had Mahi Mahi at Snack Mahana for... More

It's weird you know...you go to a place like Moorea and I'm not sure what one should expect, but the biggest surprises for food often come from the craziest places. The Mayflower is a non-descript restaurant located on the main island road right beside the Hotel Hibiscus. I'm glad we were given a recommendation to go there because it did... More

We ate at several restaurants on Moorea & this was definitely one of the best, with superb mahi mahi & delicious desserts. They did a 2-way transfer for the two of us and the service was excellent. Bon appetit!

Over 2 visits consistently high quality, cosy island ambience with little sacrifice of standards. Make sure to reserve a creme brulee when you book. French standards and island seafood, very good.

My wife enjoyed her meal, I should have ordered something else.... 100 characters minimum? Come on!! Do I really have to needlessly take up space here?!

Just returned from French Polynesia and dinner at the Mayflower was our favorite meal of the whole trip. The house-specialty dumplings are EXCELLENT (albeit very pricey). My wife ordered the mahi and it was incredible. I don't believe I've ever had fish that perfectly done - melted in your mouth like butter. The only downside is that they do not... More

We visited Mayflower in March for dinner. It was 3 of us. We were having dinner before Polynesian Dance Show at Tiki Village. We had reservations, didn't require pick-up – we had a car, we were first clients that evening. We were seated at the table near the entrance; mosquitoes bothered us entire dinner…with outbreak of chikungunya, I didn't like... More
