Pricey, but delicious! The fish beautifully presented with a curry sauce on the side - fantastic. Service was slow and they were not very busy at lunch, so that was too bad.

Several couples we spoke to at our hotel recommended that we head over to The Mayflower - and we were so glad we did. The free pick up from your hotel is great and we did not have a minimum of diners to meet like some other restaurants on the island. The ambiance and the décor were romantic. It was... More

Excellent food. The shrimp dumplings with the ginger sauce were brilliant (and I'm not a huge seafood fan), and would stand out in a restaurant anywhere (London, Paris, Hong Kong included). Lobster ravioli were also polished and flavoursome. The wine list catered for most ranges, despite being shorter than others, and had a very interesting local pineapple wine which we... More

This restaurant is living off its reputation. The atmosphere was average. The food was average. But the prices were not. We were hoping for a special dinner but it was not.

We really enjoyed our evening here. The lobster ravioli that everyone raves about was just OK. The service was awesome - our waitress was really sassy (in a good, teasing way), and made our anniversary dinner special. She even brought us a dessert, compliments of the house. We didn't have time to come back again, but we would definitely return.

Lovely atmosphere, cute inside and comfy seating. Bit pricey, 1 entree 2 mains and 2 drinks was equivalent to 120nzd. Lobster ravioli was delish but I preferred my husbands choice even better, a prawn and scallops in provincal sauce, yummiest sauce ever!

Let me preface this with: I'm a foodie and a cook and very picky. Also remember that in most countries, dining out is an all-evening experience, not to be rushed. Here, we found the service to be great, the food perfectly cooked and the atmosphere very "island-style" upscale. Also the prices were comparable to southern CA restaurants. Yes, wine is... More

Great local cuisine. This is the best restaurant on this side of the island. Lobster ravioli and shrimp dumplings very good. Lalande pomerol wine recommended.

Experienced several fine dishes with a French twist while dinning in Moorea. We started with the Shrimp Dumpling (9). My only regret, we shoiuld have order another round. These dumpllings are wickly rich, light and brutally good. Be advised; You can make a meal on only the dumpling! The Streamed Seafood dish (Fish, Scallopa and Shrimp) was extremely fresh and... More
