Friday Fish Fry

Small place half bar and half dining area. Reasonable prices for drinks and unlimited fish fry on Friday nite. Great breakfast as well. Eat here every time we are at the Door.

I have been coming up to the Door for years, and there are many great choices for breakfast with much nicer dining rooms, but the breakfasts here are as if prepared by master chefs at a high end restaurant. I just finished a crab/mushroom/onion omelette with Swiss cheese smothered in Hollandaise sauce, with a thin chocolate chip pancake seared just... More

This place is open all year and might pick up residual business they don't deserve. They are cheap. But not cheaper than most anywhere else. They are not friendly and don't do anything to make themselves more welcoming. They don't like gay people and we are a female couple. They talk about us behind or even to our faces.

Always busy on a Friday night but great fish specials and great service! Only about ten tables but definitely worth a wait. The perch were wonderful! Reasonable prices for The Door!!

We had a fantastic breakfast, country fried steak and eggs with yummy country gravy on a bed of hashbrowns. So good!

We stopped for lunch during the week. The staff was very friendly and the burgers were very good. The virgin mary was also delicious with home made pickle.

We arrived at 11:15 am, there were 3 of us. When we walked in, we were greeted by an older gentleman who asked if we were there for lunch. I asked about breakfast and he told us the "last breakfast order has already been taken" but we could have lunch. We were hungry, not having had breakfast yet, so we... More

Happened across this in one of the magazines in our hotel room. I'm a huge fan of a good breakfast. This place won't steer you wrong. I knew when we were walking up that we were in for a treat by the amazing smell! This is a bar/restaurant. Cozy, clean, old school, not quite hole in the wall with AMAZING... More

The waitress was very attentive and personable. The steaks were cooked to our liking. The cherry pie and homemade soup is what I'm raving about. I have sampled many of the "best" cherry pies in the county and somehow missed Mike's until now. So good, you'll want dessert first. Beautiful lattice crust, filled with cherries - it's made my "best... More

What a great place to eat breakfast. The service was quick and the coffee ample. The pancakes were sooooo yummy and the jelly they serve must be some of the best.
