We never ended up eating there cos when we called in to try it out no-one seemed interested in serving us (place was empty of patrons) and the menu was very limited.

A hidden treasure would certainly describe this small and unassuming cafe/restaurant. Located between Crown Beach Resort and Edgewater Resort, you could walk by and not notice it as we did on our first night out.

We had the pleasure of eating at Cafe 1018 twice; once by ourselves and once with great new friends. We are happy that you enjoyed your meal. As you noted our chef is very particular with his ingredients. As for his secret ingredients, we don't know either but we believe it is his passion for the trade.
