We stayed at the Aro'a Beachside so this was our local.. Fabulous location literally on the beach. Great selection of cocktails and great staff. The new owners Steve and Geraldine are really nice people and couldn't be more helpful. If you want a romantic cocktail with the sunset or to photograph a perfect sunset this is the bar.

It was me and my partners last night Raro, and we walked along the beach - a few mins walk from the place I was staying (Puaikura Reef Lodges); we just walked up from the beach! It's all outdoors, I ordered a Pina Colada and my partner got a local brew beer - both of which were delicious, so we... More

After reading different reviews and seeing they were voted on the top bars in the world I had great expectations. It’s a small beach front bar with great décor and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and owner. Serving their cocktails in the growing trend of using jam jars was a nice touch. They have a very limited range of bar... More

My husband and I loved this place when we visited on our honeymoon - we went back four or five times in two weeks! Watch the gorgeous sunsets with an amazing tropical cocktail (or ten) then wander home in the moonlight along the beautiful white beach. (watch out for the cute crabs!)

We were staying up the road at Castaway do would hop between their bar and this place. Gorgeous sunsets right in the beach, live music occasionally and friendly staff. We didn't eat here but food smelt pretty good!

We wandered down to this laid back looking bar on the beach and decided to stay for the BBQ night only $30pp and a great meal. You kind of feel like you've been invited to a private party as hosts Jan & Jim hand around morsels of island flavours to start, expect to try Smoked marlin in lettuce wraps, chorizo... More

The Guide Books will tell you that this place was voted 3rd best beach bar in the world. That seems like a bit of a stretch. Still, as a place to watch the sun go down with an appropriately chilled sun downer.....well,there could be worse spots. It's picture postcard stuff here. Having said that, one quibble would be the pretty... More

Really enjoyed this bar, in fact dined there 3 times over the 7 days of our stay. Would recommend the BBQ Night when the stay step out from behind the bar and kitchen and perform. Atmosphere right on the beach is magical. Lovely owner and staff. Food was simple but delicious.
