I have written several reviews about this restaurant and here I am again, just returned from my 9th trip to Raro. The Tumunu is my most favorite restaurant on Raro, it ticks all the boxes, beautiful food, great service, value for money, awesome atmosphere and amazing staff. It was great to see Evelyn and the girls again, Eric you are... More

The food was tasty. It took a while to arrive, but we were able to talk longer. Steak but it is not eye fillet as claimed but still tender. The platter also looked good. One waitress was very pushy trying to get us to order more drinks and clearing finished plates- annoying!

A hilarious place with a lot of rather odd expat regulars. The best night is possibly Tuesday when there is a darts competition...loved the 'local' atmosphere. Will be back again in late August.

We decided to try Tumunu on our last night in Raro, and wished we had discovered it earlier. Loved the decor, its different, quirky and interesting. We settled on the seafood platter for two and were not disappointed. Succulent oysters, mussels, scallops, prawns, prawn twisters, fish etc and delicious. It came with a salad which unfortunately we pigged out on... More

Had dinner a few nights ago and sat outside. The fairy lights and bug spray are a nice touch and save you from being eaten. The staff were lovely and explained the menu to me as I have a lot of dietary issues. I ordered the sauteed scallops which also came with calamari and small curly things I couldn't identify.... Love the lights at night in the trees. Its quirky, friendly, relaxed and love the cat on the bar. The restaurant meals are fantastic, we returned here again after our last trip and it was just the same as we remembered, and still good value for money, and accepts credit cards.

I love this place for its quirky beach bum decor, laser lighting, island style relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, great food and the condiments! Where else would you have salt, pepper and a large can of insect repellent at your table. lol Great experience and really very good food. If you are in Rarotonga for more than a couple of days,...
