“Repeat visitor for dinner.”

Went back for dinner after a great experience a couple of years ago. Disappointed this time, the prices are getting right up there, the wait for the meal a bit over the top, it wasn't busy, however the " staff" table appeared to be enjoying themselves. The meal was average.

“Read the ceilings and walls, they are fascinating”

Interesting restaurant and a great setting but food and service let it down. Food was more expensive than most restaurants we ate at and meals were 'ordinary'. I had crumbed scallops which had been cooked in oil (that was obvioulsy not hot) as they were pale and quite limp.

Lovely gardens and a great location, I have visited a few times and was let down with my last visit. The sea food platter is very big, a huge feed for two people- mussels, oysters, scallops, shrimp, prawn twisters, king prawns, battered fish and Ika Mata. “Love the Mash!”

Had a great meal here - chose the Rib Eye with Prawns. The local spinach mash was so morash - i could have eaten a bucket full. Service very friendly - you can also bring in a bottle of wine for a small corkage.

“Decent fish”

This place looked like it would have a great atmosphere but was worth only one visit. We had a fish plate for two and they adjusted it for gluten free. The mussels, scallops and oysters were excellent but the salad was basic and the fish was dry. Overall, we were a little disappointed.

We loved our dinner at Tumunu restaurant. Good service and great atmosphere. We enjoyed the lights that surrounded us and the little guest that joined us (the gecko's).
