Visited after reading TA reviews and its was well worth the effort. We did not go for the highly recommended platter as we were not ravenously hungry. My wife had the lemon fish and I the pepper fish. Both great and the mash was very tasty. The decor is quirky and entertaining, the staff attentive. Great place.

We had the Seafood platter for two and it was amazing. Great mix of a lot of different seafood and it is massive! Couldn't quite get through it all. its a little corny all the posters over the roof but there's something cool about it. It feels like the place has some good history

We couldn't believe the size of the meals - way more than we could eat! It was a real pity to see so much wasted. Restaurant has a very eclectic atmosphere but is one of the 'icons' on the island and doesn't seem to have changed much over the years.

We had planned on popping into Trader Jacks, but they were unfortunately closed. Instead, while driving aimlessly, we stopped at Tumunu, as the carpark was relatively full, so thought it must be popular. And boy was it! We order an entree to share and 2 drinks each before our meals arrived. Both ordered the surf and turf which was insanely... More

Kia orana Thanks for a great review. We are told by our friends and regulars that our steaks are the best. So hearing that from visitors is even more meaningful for us. I actually had one of our own steaks last week - I am not a very big meat eater, and I have to admit that I enjoyed every... More

Nice atmosphere and a short walk form local resorts. Very nice seafood platter - don't have entrees too!

Kia orana You are absolutely correct - with the Platter for Two the most you would need is perhaps some garlic/honey, garlic or herbal bread. It is a big meal and I have to say it is even too much for me and my husband! But it is so yummy. Many thanks again and if you are ever in Rarotonga... More

This place is great! we sat outside amongst tropical gardens and had the seafood platter for 2. The service was really friendly. The platter was more than any person should eat. It was really big and was full of fresh seafood. I Cant remember everything in it but there were oysters, fish, prawns, mussels, scallops... plus more! At $80 for... More
