Good food but no atmosphere

We stayed at Crown Beach Resort and this is their restaurant, the food and service is good but it is lacking atmosphere. Prices are mid range.

Not much choice for breakfast and the chef's cooking needs improvement. It's not that flash which we noticed with their menu. So much of the food is imported.

We used this restaurant daily as we were staying at the resort so took advantage . We had breakfast here everyday and enjoyed the hot breakfast on offer . We also attended most of the themed nights including Island night which we really enjoyed . The roast buffet on Sunday nights is good value also . Great location so close... More

We went to Oceans for island night. Forwent the dinner for just the show option for $15. It was brilliant. The cocktail of the day was big and cold and a reasonable price, the staff were much improved from our last visit and the service was inviting. Very nice.

We called in for Happy Hour and ended up staying for dinner which we wre very pleased about as it was the Island cultural show night. The buffet meal was delicious with great variety. The service was good and the staff attentive and friendly...they even moved us closer to the stage after dinner so we could see the show better,... More

We only popped in here because we were out on the scooter & it started to rain. There is no sign for the restaurant & the Windjammer by the entrance was closed. We only decided to walk further into the resort as our daughter had stayed here on her honeymoon so we were interested to see what it was like... More

We walked from the Sunset Resort to Oceans Restaurant and really enjoyed the pretty setting and the food. I had a club sandwich which sounds boring but it was really yummy! The service was sort of slow but no one was in a hurry - WHY?! We would have gone back but there were several other places we needed to... More

the food was extremely average, I am pretty sure the creme brulee we ordered had been frozen and reheated, and the scallops were overcooked. The wait staff were thoroughly disorganised and appeared to have no processes in place. Very disappointed in this and definitely wouldn't chance it again.
