Excellent food and service

We are frequent travellers, and want to pass on our congratulations to the staff and their supervisor on both occasions at Oceans Restaurant at Crown Beach Resort. We went to Oceans for our anniversary dinner. It was pretty good food. The Ika Mata was amazing, I do suggest you try it. I had a seafood spaghetti dish and it was pretty much some seafood and tomato sauce, so I wasn't too impressed. My husband had the fish, which was swordfish, and he thought it was excellent. Great... Our resort hosts had taken us into town on a Sunday for a special lunch celebration for our 21 year old daughter, our destination was closed, sorry Jack! where were you? Between 11.30 and 2.30pm on Sunday. Not to be discouraged by the catastrophic blowout suffered by our trusty rusty steed of a resort toyota our host said there was... More

The setting is superb, food menu great, however to get served was impossible. We got our menu promptly, then waited 25 minutes to have our drinks menu taken, then another 20 minutes before we got our drinks (at which time our meal order was taken) - only half a dozen other patrons in at the time. After finally getting our... More

We ate out every night but this was the one place we kept coming back to. You can get there for the beachfront sunset, then move into the dining area for dinner. Steak is second to none!

The staff is friendly and serve filtered water at table at no charge. Most other restaurants on the island provide bottled water at a outrageous charge. The view overlooks the lagoon and Pacific Ocean. When the clouds cooperate and stay away the sunset is fantastic. The pork belly and the fish was great!
