Delicious food at affordable prices

We eat here quite regularly being that it is our local restaurant. The menu changes every few months and the chef's use seasonal produce so there is always something new and exciting to eat at McHugh's. The prices are very affordable (excluding the rib-eye at E25 euro or thereabouts) and there is... read more

I heard and read a few reviews bout this place a good while ago and always wanted to try it! Bistro style food at a Very good price, their Lunch offering has to be one of the best values in Dublin. Good size portions and excellent flavours in every dish we ve tried, the prawn linguine, hake or the fish... More

This is a really nice find in a quiet spot that you would never expect. The décor is simple and tasteful; the music grand and low thank you. There was a lovely buzz in the place for early evening. The service was very good. I wonder could we get rid of the 'hi guys syndrome'? the person I was with... More

Was the first time in this restaurant and we were really pleasantly surprised. Lovely decor and warm and cosy. Food and wine are delicious and staff are attentive but not Intrusive. Would definitely return.

Regularly eat here. Nice atmosphere, food very good. Steak Tuesday is great value. 2 courses 21 euro which is good value. I regularly return here for different occasions. Nice to have a decent eaterie that's not in malahide or city centre.

I must admit when you look at where this restaurant is situated, you think it's going to be underwhelming, at best. However upon entry to this hidden gem, everything changes. I brought my girlfriend from Cork here for something a bit different, and different it certainly was: delicious food (with excellent wine pairings, and craft beer options), impeccable friendly service... We came here for Christmas lunch as our Christmas Party for work and we felt more of a nuisance than anything else, reminders of our limited time before we had begun, utterly low service and were quite irritated at those who wanted less than 3 courses or gluten free options. We were a long table that filled right to left... More
