I liked the steaks.The always well-kept enviroment.The locals eating there as well. Most of all the never changing quality.

All very good dishes at this historical restaurant, showing refined technique, lightness of hand, top produce. Black truffle was proper black truffle (from Umbria) and not the stuff with the texture and flavour of cardboard one so often finds even in fine dining places. Not much to say. We were there with friends and went for the `menue surprise` and followed the different wine selections for each course. The restaurant is located in a nice village just outside of Bolzano, Italy. The menu provides some great examples of how a traditional, regional cuisine (regional Italy and German influences) can be presented in creative and contemporary ways. I do not often recommend restaurants but this one I would. The food is fabulous from start to finish and I mean every dish. The price is not cheap, but, to me, the extraordinary quality makes it very reasonable.
