The line was out the door but we got a table in just 15 min. like they said. Service was quick and friendly. Shrimp was delicious.

Flounder's Chowder House is a great spot for casual dining in Pensacola. With a volleyball beach, a dock, outdoor dining, and a unique menu, the environment is fun and the food excellent. Be careful when planning your visit that certain items are not available at all times, such as the stuffed flounder (their specialty). On a friend's recommendation, we went... More

Biggest. Ceasar. Ever. No, really. Who doesn't finish a ceasar salad? I couldn't because it was so big! It was good too! Everyone else in my group had seafood (shrimp boat was a huge hit) and the rest had the flounder. Killer hush puppies and personable waitstaff made it enjoyable.

We stayed in Pensacola Beach for a week and this was the best restaurant we went to. The food was the best we had and the Diesel Fuel drinks were awesome. The restaurant has a reall cool atmosphere, with a stage for live music in the back and a playground in the sand for the kids.

We decided to go here with 5 kids. It was a great choice. Kids played volleyball and walked on the pier while waiting for our food. They really enjoyed it here. Food was good. We had the shrimp and andouille egg rolls which were great. Three boys had filet minion and must have enjoyed it because they cleaned their plates.... More

Great food with big portions. They have sand volleyball and and pirate ship playground for kids with a great view of the water! Can't wait to come back and bring my family! We went early so it wasn't very crowded.

What happened to the old flounders? When it comes to ambience this place cannot be beat. We have been coming here for over 10 years and this place is not the same anymore. The Mahi Mahi that I had has been some of the best at Pensacola Beach by far and was again this year. However the dishes that have... More

There were six of us and we absolutely had a great time. They had live music on the night we were there, it was a band called The Flame Throwers. They were great, and really got the crowd moving and played a WIDE variety of music. The drinks were good, once in a while they were a bit strong, but... More

Great beachy restaurant right on the sound. Food was decent with good portions but a little pricy. Prices look to have recently increased as they were a few dollars higher from what we originally saw online. If you go, you definitely have to try “Diesel Fuel’ such a great strong drink. We went on Thursday and they had them for... More
