We ate there 3 times in a week with a party of 16. Orders always right, timely and delicious. We ate something different each time. Nice place for kids to play while waiting. Wonderful gift shop also.

I have never been let down by this place. I do miss the cheap chowder they use to give you with your meal... but man the food is so good!!!

We've eaten here in the past and obviously liked it well enough to return, but we might try somewhere else in the future given the price of the meal. The coconut shrimp entree came with plenty of shrimp....they were a bit too sweet for my taste and I couldn't finish them all. The mac and cheese/bacon/shrimp entree was pretty good,... More

My friend heard the chowder there was good. He tried it and gave me a taste, it was okay, if the place is a "Chowder House" wouldn't you think we would have said, "Wow Great Chowder?" It wasn't even hot, just kinda luke warm. I had flash fried fish and new potatoes which were overly salty. I couldn't even eat... More

I ordered the Baja Fish tacos and they were average at best. The coronas I ordered were easily better especially with a frosted glass and lime. Hemingway's or Crabs across the street are much better. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you want to play volleyball as they have a big area for that type of activity.

We are glad to see that you enjoyed your corona while you were eating dinner at Flounders. However, We would like to know where we missed the mark as for the fish tacos, so that we can improve them for you and our future guests. More

Food is average, but in large portions. We have visited here many times and though it is overall very good, it is pretty average in retrospect.

Once again, I know I am going to get a few bad dining experiences when going off of TripAdvisor, and this was the worst this week and the most expensive by far. This seriously is not worth the money at all. If you want to drink this is probably the place. Music was turned up rudicolously so loud, we could... More

Huge restaurant that seems to focus more on high octane alcohol than food. The food was decent but expensive and small portions.

I value your opinion greatly as a guest of our restaurant. I am also sorry to see that you found our portions lacking for the price value as well. We definitely pride ourselves on our portions of food, as well as the quality for the price offered, if at all possible I would like to know what item we fell... More

We stopped in for dinner. There is a lot of fan fare & it's huge so I thought it was going to be a fun dinner but wow, I was surprised at how good everything was. Of course, since they are known for their chowder you have to get it. I did and it was so good! The Shrimp Poboy,... More

Went to brunch last Sunday morning about 10:00 .... we chose a table with an umbrella out on the deck and had a great view with a slight sea breeze .... we both ordered the classic eggs Benedict with cheese grits on the side ... it was great ... there were two large slices of melons, grapes and a single...
