My husband & I ate the oyster combo, grouper sandwich, red beans & rice, & Cajun shrimp wrap. Everything was delicious & very reasonably priced. Good service & nice casual beach atmosphere. We really enjoyed & would like to go again next year while on vacation.

The oysters are the best! Great beach atmosphere. Had the Cajun Burger for lunch it was excellent. Went back for dinner and had the combo for two which included Maine Lobster, crab claws, and shrimp. Wash it all down with a signature Peg Leg Pete's Shipwreck and you can't go wrong.

Long wait? Well worth it! The kids enjoy playing on the sand downstairs as the adults enjoy a drink while we all wait for our table. The kids were disappointed our wait wasn't longer. The food is excellent! We recommend trying the oysters, grouper po'boys, or the grilled mixer. For the adults who enjoy a good drink get a Shipwreck.

I had the gumbo, which was good but not great. I then had the key west salad with grouper. The grouper was tasty but the actual salad itself was disappointing -- just iceberg etc from a bag. Plus a few raisins and dried cranberries tossed in. I was the only person eating a salad so although it was a menu... More

My husband and I have been coming to Peg Leg Pete's since September 1991. We spent our honeymoon at the Dunes hotel, which now is Holiday Inn, and was recommended this restaurant. We haven't missed a trip ever since. Food, staff and views are always fantastic. Be sure to get a tye dye tshirt and drink a Ship Wreck!

We had eaten here before on a previous trip but did not try the oysters. This time we did and were very pleased. The grouper sandwich was also excellent. The full parking lot at noon attests to this restaurant's appeal and food quality.

We are here with a bunch of families. Adults enjoyed dinner and kids played on the playground. There is a bar by the playground and tables to eat but with limited menu in that area

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Peg Leg Pete's. We had the seafood sampler with grouper, scallops and shrimp. It was VERY good! I would imagine the restaurant gets really crowded on the weekends. We were there in the late afternoon during the week. No problem getting in and the service was great. Had enough food left for another light... More

Noisy, but engaging and lots of fun. We had the crab patty and it was wonderful-lots of lumps of crab and served beautifully. One of our party had a food allergy and the manager came to the table to discuss ingredients in the food she ordered to make sure the ingredients were safe for her. Awesome. Service was good. A...
