First Wednesday in Our Oyster season for Raw Oysters!

We love oysters, baked oysters, oyster po'boys, oysters almost anyway! But from June through August we choose not to eat the raw ones. So September is our favorite time to go to Peg Leg's!!! Two dozen raw, one dozen sampler, and I order of the most original, traditional, and wonderful bread... read more

Massive selection, really good food. Manager went way out of their way to accommodate an allergy. Great place.

The best fish chowder, I'd put it up against anything from the northeast. Plenty of different styles of baked oysters, plus raw and steamed, all great. Smoked yellowfin dip is a local staple and they have one big enough to share.

Yes its a tourist spot..but the oysters on the half were very good. For me I like a lot of horseradish for the added kick. Had the Casino with red pepper, a little to much bread crumbs but still very good. Even picked up a bottle of their Peg Leg Pete's sauce to take home. Very good.

Very hot inside and out. This place was very busy but the staff adapted very well. We arrived at five pm. We had a very long line. They were able to seat the majority of us within 20 min.

I have reviewed Peg Leg Pete's several times in the past and must say again that this is our favorite restaurant in PCB. Yes there are long lines at times and the wait can be intimidating. However, on our last two visits we decided to set downstairs in the "Underwhere Bar". There being a wait upstairs both times, we were... More

The first day we were in Pensacola Beach we tried this restaurant. The food was so good and inexpensive. We ordered crablegs and shrimp for two days straight. The staff on both days were great. Man if I could eat seafood everyday I would. If you visit the beach you have to try this restaurant.

We went for lunch on the last day of our vacation as we were about to leave town. The service was quick and friendly, the oysters were great, and the atmosphere relaxed. We both loved it.

We went on a Thursday night and there was a 45 minute wait. Decided to stay because of the great reviews. Ordered the nachos as an appetizer and the steamed shrimp platter and the crab and shrimp platter. The service was okay but the food was awful. All of the seafood was devoid of flavor and well overcooked. The seafood... More

The restaurant was recommended to us, not only on Trip Advisor, but by the hotel clerk in our hotel. And they were all right. It was a wonderful meal. We wanted fresh seafood and got it. I had stuffed grouper, which was excellent. The crabmeat stuffing was delicious as was the fish. My wife opted for the grilled Maui Maui,... More
