Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum..... NOT

We stopped by Peg Leg Pete's after visiting Fort Pickens. Interesting ambiance ... Red Neck Riviera would be a good description but fun. I hesitate to tell those who do not know about this resturant because it will only get busier! However, I will anyway telling you this is the best seafood in the Southeast! It is a lunch and dinner place that was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina and rebuilt to look exactly like the original! You can eat outside and look at... More

We were seated downstairs and it was freezing!!! The signature drink was expensive but good. This is a great place in the summer, but sit inside during the colder months. We spent $80' for a nice dinner and were frozen by the time dinner was over.

We went and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I ordered the fried shrimp and it was delicious. Don't bother asking how many shrimp are on the plate, there are a bunch. Not large shrimp, rather medium size, but enough to fill you up. Regardless of your preference, they have a full menu, from Cajun to steaks and everything in between.... More

Peg Leg Pete's is one of my favorites to go to when visiting Pensacola. The food and the atomosphere are comparable to no other. I recommend anyone visiting Pensacola Beach to put this restaurant on your lists of places to eat!

Just the second time I have eaten at this restaurant and it was as great as it was the first time. Delicious food at a really great price point. The oysters are a must have, any style. Don't miss this place!

We were sent here by our hotel manager as his personnal recommendation... the 'local favorite...boy was he right. Super atmosphere and great selection of seafood entrees, plus other for the non-seafood lover. Prices right in line. Here for 5 days and coming back 2 more times before we go.

Speedy service! Great food! Awesome beer selection! Quality sea food at a reasonable price; left with full bellies and money in our pocket.

This place is a must every time we are anywhere close to the area! Fell in love with the oyster platter a few years ago and last night it didn't disappoint. Also had the snow crab bucket and was def the best I've had all year!!! Wish I was staying in the area longer so I come back again.

Had medium rare yellow fin tuna dinner special. Excellent and cooked to perfection. I love this restaurant for its location on the beach, freshest seafood and absolutely the best service. Even in the chill of winter this place will warm you up. I don't think there is any place with fresher fish. I've been to all the "beach" restaurants. This... More
