Just wanted to caution those who may want to bring a large group here. They are not set up for at all. Our group of 40 was seated in the same area, but all over the room. The waiters took 20 minutes deciding how to split the tables to ensure they received the best tips, which I don't blame them.... More

7-24-14 11:45pm I beg and plead with you not to waste one minute of your precious vacation time in Florida with your family on Peg Leg Pete's. This was easily the worst food I have ever eaten in my life! We were told how good the food was, and we are staying @ the Sans Souci resort right across the... More

Be ready to wait!. Only a few times have we gone and not had to wait, and that is from open to close. We started sitting at the bar to get in quicker. The service at the bar is great. Mike the bartender is the best. Grab a seat then tell him what you want to eat and before most... More

This place was packed! Wait supposed to be 1 hour came out to 30 mins instead. Cool sand-pit playground for kids and bar for parents downstairs while you wait. Good music constantly playing (live). Food was really good -- I got the mixed seafood grill. Kids enjoyed their souvenir buckets of food, including mini corn dogs and 2each Oreos. They... More

If you want fresh grouper this is the place to go. The wait was only 10 minutes which was great, but you need to go to the bar if you don't want to wait an hour plus. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

My husband and I have been going to pensacola for years and finally decided to try someplace besides Crabs and Flounders. I read reviews on here about the wait so we went "early" for dinner at 5ish I mean any earlier we might qualify for seniors rate. We waited for 45 minutes for 2 people in first available seating. The... More

We loved the atmosphere and the food was awesome. I had steamed shrimp and crab and it was delicious. Staff was friendly and very efficient.

Shrimp was awesome. Service was excellent. Prices a little cheaper than other spots on the island and their service and food way better. Popular place had to wait almost an hour.

Peg Leg Pete's has a fun atmosphere, sandy playscape for the kids and sits next to a dock where you can drool over the pretty boats. We had high expectations because an employee at our hotel said this was the best restaurant in town. We found the food at Flounders to be superior. Don't get me wrong, the food at... More

We tried to eat at this location last year while in Pensacola and found it impossible, even at opening, to get in quickly. This year we were visiting with another couple and they wanted to go to Peg Legs for dinner. We arrived around 6 and were told we would have an hour wait. The wait ended up being more... More
