Good food, good music, lot's of people

Being a local, I have been here a number of times. Parking is difficult, so come early for dinner or you may have to park and walk. We went three times before we actually ate there! It was very popular and the wait was always over an hour at the upstairs part of restaurant. We ended up settling for the downstairs bar area. It was great! A little grungy because it is exposed to the elements but the food was really good. The menu was smaller than... More

You WILL have to wait.....BUT it is SO worth it!! The food is amazing!! We went here twice on vacation and everyone in our group of 10 was unanimous on this choice! The combo oyster platter was my favorite. The peel and eat shrimp were great too! The kids loved being able to play in the outdoor sand playground and... More

Had a great lunch with my wife, the grouper sandwiches are fantastic. The service was top notch. Sat out on the deck and enjoyed the view of the dock.

We are on vacation and decided to get some seafood tonight for dinner. We were seated promptly at 5:30. We started with two 1/2 dozen orders of charbroiled oysters. We had the Parmesan and the Cajun. The Parm were good. The Cajun were too sweet not Cajun seasoned. The shrimp po boy, fried seafood platter were very good. The atmosphere... More

Good atmosphere and good food if you're willing to wait. Went for lunch on Saturday, but the wait was an hour just to get in. Went back for supper, and the wait was only 20 min, if willing to take 'first available' of the different dining areas. Which we did. Parking is as problematic as the wait times. We were... More

The food is amazing! The atmosphere is great. Had to wait about an hour but was well worth it! We will definitely be back! I can see why this place is so popular!

We have lived in Pensacola since 1990 and are originally from South Louisiana so we know what good seafood is. This is our favorite seafood place and have never had a bad experience with them. Yeah, it's a tourist joint but It it's good. They serve local fresh seafood without the frills and they do it right. Prices are what... More

We went to Peg Leg Pete's on the Saturday of the Air Show. They seated us in the patio area, and we were very hot - the little ceiling fans didn't do much good. Our food was decent, but nothing more. Tasted a lot like chain restaurant food. Just felt like an Applebees with a seaside décor. I wanted to... More

We tried 3 nights to go here to eat and the wait was over an hour. Our last night we decided to wait and it did not disappoint. The crab claw platter was amazingly fresh. They were large, not overly battered and there were plenty of them to share. The grilled snapper also looked and smelled wonderful. Our waitress was... More
