My family and I thoroughly enjoyed their tasty food. We ordered the food to go and it was ready when promised. My wife kept saying, "We should eat here again!"

The sign out front said this restaurant served California Mexican food, so we expected it to be different from the usual fare at Mexican restaurants and it was. Five of us ate here: my wife and I, our daughter-in-law, her father, and our grandson. My wife and I got a cup of soup each. She had tortilla soup, and I... More

This place has great food. It is more like Southern California Mexican though. I enjoy going, but prices are higher than average Mexican restaurant. I guess you get what you pay for though.

I'm from Wisconsin I don't think I have a high standard for Mexican food. But this place was pitiful. My shrimp chimichanga came out cold. The shrimp were still frozen and the shredded cheese wasn't even melted (see picture attached to this review). The margaritas tasted like kool-aid with tequila. The tortilla chips were stale. Our service was terrible. It... More

If you haven't been, you're missing out! Cantina style Mexican at it's finest! The sauce they pour over the quesadillas is addictive

I went to the one on the west side Walked in and was immediately seated. Waited 15 min to get chip's and salsa and 10 more to get my soda. The food took 20 min to arrive. I called the management about this and they said they would make it up to me next time and send me a gift... More

I’m very familiar with authentic Mexican food and the Californian and Texan interpretations of Mexican food… So, I’m not a purist, but I do like a lot of good flavor. This meal was not particularly memorable or flavorful. Everything was kind of bland. I had a pork chimichanga because I love carnitas and the Mr. had a chicken burrito, because... More

While visiting in Pensacola Beach recently, we used TripAdvisor to find places to eat. The reviews for Cactus Flower Café were not wrong! This place is amazing! The food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was so relaxed and inviting. It was fun to eat great Mexican food while sitting by the window and watching all the... More

My husband and I just came to Pensacola Beach (not for the first time), and we were looking for some good food. We found just that at the Cactus Flower Cafe! It's was the best Mexican food I've ever had! The chimichanga was awesome, and huge! Queso Blanco cheese dip was good, and we loved the free chips and salsa.... More

This is not a fancy restaurant, but it's clean and cozy. Best of all, has the best assortment of California/Mexican food in the area. Everything is fresh and tasty.
