Ate there with my wife based on location. Had a good meal. Went back two days later hosting a group of 12 and had a great meal and stellar service from server Jordan. We had crab claws, fresh grouper blackened, fresh red snapper grilled, shrimp, paella and Cuban fare such as black beans, rice and the best caramelized plantains anywhere.... More

Met some sailing friends for drinks ... one of them has been going to Hemingway's for a long time and swears by the tequila sunrise made there .... so, we had a coupla of 'em ... I like my drinks a little stronger than most people so when I mentioned that to the our waitress, she fixed it ... now... More

We stopped into Hemingway's for dinner. We asked to sit outside on the balcony and the view was amazing. Our server was just "doing his job". He wasn't overly friendly just there to take our orders. My husband had the Cuban and it was HUGE! I had the Key Lime Shrimp Pasta.. They really need to drop the Key Lime... More

During a recent trip to Pensacola, my wife and I discovered and absolutely terrible restaurant called Hemingway's. We had high hopes, but despite it's potential, is was a major bust! To get to the point, we ordered the Fish of the Day, which the server said was Red Snapper. When it arrived, it didn't look like snapper, and it definitely... More

Our second visit was as good as the first. We spent our anniversary at Hemingway's. The food is amazing as well as the view. Great staff. Just a wonderful place to go for food and atmosphere. .

Pasta, seafood, Cuban, burgers, soups, Churrasco, salads, flat-breads, sandwiches.... Jeez, just pick a couple categories and try focusing on doing those food items really well. Our dinner was fair- Hurricane Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp, Pillar Platter. Black beans and rice were overcooked and bland.

We went for late lunch and were able to get a seat w/ a beautiful view of the water. Waitress was nice but seemed a bit ditzy--she kept getting my order wrong and after the 3rd time of me repeating it she still didn't write it down. My son even joked that it was a miracle that it came out... More

Hemingway's in Pensacola beach is a great place to go eat and enjoy a delicious meal with a great view! There is always a seat and the staff is very friendly. There is a great variety of selections for everyone's taste. I enjoy the plantains and I know someone that loves the pork chops..... You will not be disappointed.

With a name like Hemingway's, I expected a bit of pretension, but the service was good and our waiter was very friendly. I had the blackened chicken salad. The chicken was burnt, not blackened, and overall very bland. My friend liked the place better, but I was just say average. Good if you want something different in the area.
